That is very stupid. Second of all, O have bought multiple products with issues. I have received trashbags with draw strings that break easily. I have received trash bags that are supposed to have four corners to tie together but only have three. I have recieved a Method bottle of lotion with a defective top that will not pump. HOWEVER two major issues. Grove has always operated with the plan that once you sign up they’ll ship monthly unless you tell them not to. This is MUCH WORSE than most stores like Amazon just letting you shop. Now, they changed their app entirely, seems to mostly load a web page within the app, and it was working poorly enough I was using the website on safari only, until today that stopped letting me log in. I had a shipment decide to ship itself while I was unable to log in and change anything. For most people switching to a plastic-free lifestyle, the goal is also to reduce exposure to harmful chemicals as much as possible. I cross-referenced several products on the Environmental Working Group website, which rates products based on ingredient safety and toxicity concerns. Many of the products listed in the app scored poorly and included ingredients linked to carcinogens or other health concerns. That makes it concerning for the app to market itself as “healthy” while featuring products that may not align with that claim. It feels misleading and could cause consumers to assume products are safer than they actually are. All in all, the app itself is well-designed and definitely has potential. My main concern is that the overall premise feels misleading by presenting itself as promoting healthier living while still featuring many products that contain ingredients linked to toxicity concerns. ### 1/5 — Grove is fine this app sucks *2026-05-12, version 21.3.1* Latest update left me not able to see my favorites, my buy agains or the items that were in my cart but to top it off I cannot add things to my cart to purchase either. And just now I did this and it didn’t even clear out my cert at checkout, as if it was going to auto ship the same order I just placed next week.
