I have been more than two years paying and there is no stopping this! I regret the day I downloaded this app and thought it was a good idea to trust my bank accounts to some basement run startup. And dare they treat you as a human, always rude and aggressive! Its not their fault, its the fault of the App store and other organisations that let this incompetence operate and scam people! ### 1/5 — Grover Care Service Scam? *2024-08-03, version 3.3.7* Nachdem ich schon mehrere Geräte vollkommen zufrieden und auch lange Zeit bei Grover gemietet habe, kam es wenige Monate vor Ende der Mietlaufzeit zu einem herstellerbedingten Defekt an meinem iPad. Meine Annahme: Durch den Schutz von Grover Care kann ich mir easy und kurzfristig ein Ersatzgerät zukommen lassen. Falsch gedacht. Seit Monaten werden teilweise sehr fadenscheinige Begründungen gezogen, weswegen man mir keines schicken könnte und ich doch einfach die Miete beenden soll (was vollkommen uninteressant ist, da ich in 2 Monaten das Gerät für 1€ aus dem Vertrag kaufen könnte). Begründen sind (1) ich sei während der Mietzeit (3 Jahre) umgezogen, und man könne das Ersatzgerät nur an die initiale Adresse schicken, (2) man könne ausschließlich das identische Gerät schicken und das sei aktuell nicht verfügbar. Als Ausgleich bietet man mir einen „üblichen“ Rabattgutschein einer neuen Mindestmietzeit von >3 Monaten an. Fazit: Wir Kurzzeitmieter toller Service. Für Personen, die bei Grover Technik testen wollen, die sie dann ggf auch langfristig behalten möchten Grover Care als benefit und Begründung für die hohen Kosten verstehen: Finger weg von Grover. In meinem Fall wäre ich da bei Apple direkt + Apple Care sogar besser aufgehoben gewesen. ### 1/5 — No puedes subir tus productos *2024-07-23, version 3.3.6* No puedes poner para alquilar tus propios productos, esto no lo aclaran desde el principio, que perdida de tiempo ### 5/5 — Handy und Technik *2024-07-03, version 3.3.5* Das es so etwas wie Grover gibt ist schon eine gute Sache. Man findet eigentlich immer gute Angebote und manchmal gibt es auch ganz tolle Aktionen die sich wirklich lohnen. Und das beste daran das die Sachen immer in einen Top Zustand sind, außerdem gibt man auch einigen Technischen Artikeln eine gute zweite Chance. I rented a VR headset and sent it back on time. However, when I tried to rent an item a second time, I was banned by the verification process, so the service never worked for me again. Eventually, I rented the item using my friend's account and again sent it back on time. Despite this, Grover still tried to charge money from my friend's bank account, and when that didn't work, the service started sending, in my opinion, passive-aggressive emails demanding payment, even though the item had already been returned a week prior. Por suerte, me di cuenta al cogerla y la devolví al repartidor sin firmar nada. Menos mal porque con el servicio de atención al cliente que tienen hubiera tenido un gran problema. Hablo con ellos y tras mil correos, ninguna solución. Lo único que me dicen es que tienen que investigar y que tardará unos 3 meses. Me congelan la cuenta y tampoco puedo acceder a otro dispositivo ni me devuelven el dinero. Entiendo su parte, pero que no me den ninguna solución cuando hay pruebas por mi parte y por la de la de UPS de que yo recibí la caja vacía. Aún así he intentado sacar otro igual con ellos y son los que ponen problemas. After renting faulty tech that stopped working within months I contacted them and they want $700 to close the rental to stop charging me $50 a month indefinitely. I had already paid more than the full value of the rental in this time. Absolutely disgusting customer service by telling me whether I return a functional rental or not I have to pay hundreds of dollars without that ever being disclosed that to begin with. Damals die Xbox Series geholt und ich bin da auch erst skeptisch gewesen gebe ich zu aber jetzt hab ich sie ausgelöst und sie ist meine. Das Tolle an Grover ist du wirst nicht wie bei jedem anderen nach der Schufa gefragt und wir kennen sie alle wie sie einem was vermiesen kann wenn man mal was Falsch gemacht hat. Kundensupport ist auch super schnell und Freundlich daher für mich 5/5 Sternen und eine klare Empfehlung im Jahr 2024. Nächste Gerät wurde auch schon gemietet und es werden noch welche Folgen ganz klare Sache.
