There are some good devotional apps, but this one has been the best so far. The teaching is in depth, yet not overwhelming — just enough information to gain a clear perspective on the subject. The lessons are Biblical, challenging, and one can share their perspective on the lesson. I love it! The influence, the ads, the draw to stay connected 24/7, 365 can be too much. That’s where Grow comes in. While it allows you to stay connected, it allows us to share with one another. If you are looking for somewhere to start connecting with other Christians this is a great app for that. I just found there to be the same repeated plans and lack of mixed content that I was hoping for. I know it must be so hard to compete with the big companies, but if you version could do it and get some of the big churches and names behind it then it is possible, not without a lot of money and connections however I guess… Praying that the future might be brighter. After deleting all secular social media due to the endless cycle of "doom scrolling," I’ve found this app to be a refreshing change. There are no videos (though you can share YouTube links), and posts are limited to one photo at a time. What I truly appreciate is the encouragement and biblical teachings shared by my brothers and sisters in Christ. The only downside is the lack of direct messaging. This app is full of people who genuinely follow Christ, and it’s a community that will support you and strengthen you in your faith! There is so much wisdom and insight here, and also so many people who are opening up about their needs and the things they’re struggling with. For me, doing faith on those platforms would’ve been a very slippery slope; that’s why I’m so grateful that God led me to Grow app. It has been absolutely amazing in enabling me to connect with other Christians in a nice environment. Since Our Daily Bread has dropped the comment part, I could no longer hear from my ODB family that I have come to know and love. We could never see each other, but we got to know one another through our comments, prayers, and prayer requests. We can now see one another if we include a picture on our profile and most importantly, we were mostly able to stay together. We heave lost a few, but they aren’t forgotten. So grateful for this app. Keep up the great work!
