## What is GrowOperative?

GrowOperative is a local food marketplace. Connect with people in your area to trade surplus food and homemade goods.

How it works:
Browse what your neighbours are growing or making. List your own surplus. Make trades and track each order from request to delivery. Build a network of trusted trading partners over time.

Settle trades how you choose. GrowOperative supports bilateral credit between trusted neighbours, an old practice put into a clean digital record. Credits and debts cancel automatically when chains of trust connect, so a tomato grower can effectively trade with a baker by way of the corner store, even without a direct relationship.

This update brings a refreshed GrowOperative app experience with polished navigation, smoother screen transitions, improved spacing, and better support for the latest iOS design patterns.

It also improves wallet compatibility with the latest mutual-credit backend, fixing an issue where some transactions could show an error after completing successfully.

We’ve also added support for future required app updates, so GrowOperative can safely guide users to update if an older app version becomes incompatible.

Turn on Nearby Members from your Contacts to see who's growing, making, and trading in your area. Location stays approximate — distances are measured neighbourhood to neighbourhood, about 1 km, and your exact location is never stored. Looking for people makes you visible to them too; hide yourself anytime in Account Settings.

• Invite people with shareable codes — create single-use or reusable Multi-pass invites and send them as a link or QR code.
• Scan a friend's invite QR right in the app to connect in person.
• Push notifications — get notified when someone requests an item, sends a payment, or needs your confirmation, and tap to jump straight there.
• A cleaner notification inbox, with a badge that reflects what still needs your attention.
• Verify your email for account recovery — add or change it in Account settings and confirm with one tap from the email we send.
• Forgot your password? You can now reset it by email from the login screen.
• Stability and polish throughout.
