I love them both. It's easy for me to chart every check-up and see when growth spurts have occurred. Graphs are clear and tables with percentiles are great. I really like that you can switch between CDC and WHO data. You can use USA, UK or SI units. You can switch back and forth. I bought the in-app upgrade but those are a pain to deal with vs buying the pro version which has identical function. I would have bought the + version from the onset knowing what I know now. In fact, I just bought the "+" version to eliminate that hassle and help out the developer. App Store wouldn't let me post a review here until I bought it. Read my full review on the free version. If you want to keep track of your kids growth this is the only app you want. I already had the free version. Needs to allow the user to Change units to English so I can enter pounds and inches. Would like my $2.99 back now. ### 2/5 — Missing feature *2024-01-26* Paid version seems identical to the free version. Main weakness is lack of ability to add notes to each entry. We do our own tracking at home, which is slightly different to tracking we might get at a hospital, GP specialist or midwife. When you’re tracking weight on a variety of scales but for only short periods of time compared to at home tracking it would be ideal to be able to add a note on where the weight was taken as the scales vary a bit. We don’t want to lose that record but want to differentiate it in some way. This app just lumps it all together so it can be confusing in retrospect or when trying to review a trajectory or communicate about your child’s weight. ### 2/5 — Does not give all exact percentiles *2017-10-20* Does not give exact percentiles as stated, particularly those below <0.1%. Only purchased so I could get those exact numbers. Otherwise great app, very useful especially the graphs. ### 3/5 — Just what I was looking for *2011-04-14* I have 4 small children and have scraps of paper with different weights on different dates, this is the perfect solution although would get 5 stars of it had shoe sizes too as I can never remember when I'm shopping what they all are. Even though my son was 2, I was able to add all of his stats from Dr. visit and edit date for each going back to 2009. I have recommended this to everyone I know that is pregnant. I open the app, show them how convenient it is to see your child’s weight and height from day one right in the palm of your hand. The times I can’t make an appointment with the pediatrician and have to take my son to a Doc in a box, I open the app and get ready to add his data. When we see his pediatrician I open the app and email the chart to the Dr and she can update her charts as well. I can’t praise this app enough. The data transfer feature is great! This app helped me stay calm while tracking my premie's growth, as well as helping me validate what the doctors told us.
