My husband and I love missy at the bar. She is always fun kind and ready to serve. We love visiting when she’s there. Also the food is really good. The buns made on site and the ground beef are exceptional. Y’all get a 10 from us. ### 5/5 — New to the app *2020-11-04, version 2.1* I just downloaded this app and scanned my receipt. Bam!! 29 points! I’m on my way to my first 50. Much easier than using a punch card that requires an employee to use their handheld single hole puncher. Also much more sanitary cause seriously, Covid. I love it! This app rocks. I wish I could down load it again. I think that is false advertising. Why put a photo of the loaded fries if they are not included? When I explained this to the lady at the register she wasn’t willing to do anything. For the past few weeks when you try to order none of the menu items populate, it’s just blank with nothing. I’m not sure what happened but it’s a big disappointment when it used to work so well. ### 1/5 — Don’t bother… *2020-02-15, version 2.1* …unless you’re ready and willing to jump thru all the hoops to create an account, thereby empowering Grub to spam you with a flood of supposed “offers”. As astonishing and unfathomable as it surely must be to them, I’ve never set foot in a Grub Burger Bar, and just wanted to explore the menu. The app refuses to allow you that liberty—even though it clearly shows an option to “explore as guest” on their home screen. When you select that option, they prompt you immediately to “redeem your 50 point reward”… which of course you can’t do until you “create an account”. I finally gave up and said “Open Website” and tried to view the menu that way. Surprise!… “Try Our App” the website declares… and the cycle starts all over again. Puh-leeze!!! News Flash: Not everyone is interested in giving you open access to their email address, credit card info, etc…at least not until we know if we’re ever going to want your food more than once. This was a wasted download, and is now in its rightful place: the trash. Good riddance. ### 1/5 — App cannot be opened *2019-12-26, version 2.1* I would love to use their app but it crashes as it starts to open on my iPhone 10S Max running iOs 13.x.x. I have re-installed it and updated it multiple times with no change. Update: Played phone tag with support but was unable to connect with anybody after 5 attempts. ### 2/5 — Buggy app *2022-06-19, version 2.2* Grub’s app does okay with ordering, but the app actually deducted points the last time I came in. Today, I started with 25 points and earned 52 points! Woohoo. The app now shows I have 27 points. 😒 Oh well, I come for the food, not the points, but I might come more often if the points worked. I did email customer support, but I haven’t seen a reply. Yes, I checked my spam folder. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’ll still come back for the food. ### 2/5 — App Issues *2019-04-13, version 1.1.2* Food at Grub is great. However, app is unsophisticated. Biggest problem is it doesn’t store your previous orders so you just just reorder them. This is super annoying, especially with dietary restrictions. Also, user has to input barcode info instead of having a reader at the register. ### 3/5 — Sub Par Again! *2021-09-01, version 2.2* Didn’t receive initial receipt. Had to ask for it twice and finally manager brought it to us after we let her know we had received the wrong burger after a long wait. She did however go to the kitchen herself and remake my order herself though to be sure it was correct which I do appreciate, but this was the second time within the last 30 days that we received negative service at this location. The last time I simply didn’t even leave a review at all.
