## What is Grubblin?

Meet Grub. He is small, green, and extremely judgmental about your screen time.

Grubblin turns quitting the doomscroll into keeping a pet alive. You pick the apps that melt your brain, you swear a daily vow of locked hours, and Grub lives or rots by whether you keep your word. That is the whole deal. It is simple, it is brutal, and it is surprisingly fair.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Pick your doom apps. Instagram, TikTok, whatever owns you.
2. Swear the daily vow. How long do they stay locked each day?
3. Lock them. One tap for 30 minutes, an hour, three hours. Or set a nightly schedule and let it happen by itself.
4. Keep the vow and Grub heals, your streak grows, and good things wash up in the swamp. Miss it and he rots. He will also say something rude about it.

THE TOLL GATE

Outside your locks, the doom apps stay shielded. Want to scroll anyway? Knock, and beg Grub for a 15 minute pass. Every pass costs him a little health and comes out of a daily allowance. When the allowance is gone, the gates close until midnight. You can always break through in an emergency. He will remember.

THE GOBLIN GROWS

Clean days build streaks. Streaks evolve Grub from a sprout into a lurker and, if you are truly reformed, a swamp elder. Every day the widget sits on your home screen, thriving or rotting in real time. It is the most effective guilt ever shipped in 4 by 2 inches.

GRUBBLIN PLUS

Keep a 7 day streak and an egg washes up in the swamp. Keep it warm with clean days and something strange crawls out. There are 12 creatures to hatch and raise, from babies to elders. They can take over duty from Grub, they build trust with you, and they take betrayal very personally. Plus also unlocks HD exports of your weekly time lapse. One subscription or a single lifetime purchase, your choice.

YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS

Grubblin collects nothing. No account, no analytics, no ads, no cloud. Apple's Screen Time system hands us scrambled tokens, so we cannot even see which apps you picked. Everything lives on your phone and deleting the app deletes it all.

THE FINE PRINT, HONESTLY

Grubblin cannot read your mind or your apps. It blocks what you tell it to block, it frees what you beg it to free, and the escape hatch always works. The only thing standing between you and the scroll is a small green creature who believed in you.

The swamp is alive now. Grub potters, guards, feasts, and sleeps in a real place that changes with the time of day. Your creatures stand around the swamp, sleep at night, greet you when you visit, and leave you little gifts when they trust you. A Live Activity counts your lock down right on the lock screen. First-timers get one honest 15-minute promise instead of a lecture.
