GS-911wifi is an app for BMW motorcycles. It requires a HEX GS-911wifi diagnostic interface. What Does the App Do? The GS-911wifi app makes it easy to get started with your GS-911wifi device. Set up, register, and connect to your GS-911wifi directly from your mobile device - no laptop or extra software needed. Once connected, you can access the full range of GS-911 diagnostic features through the app. Emergency functionality (ECU Info, read & clear fault codes, monitor real-time data) is available offline, while service functions require an internet connection. What Does a HEX GS-911wifi Diagnostic Interface Do? It is a Diagnostic Tool for BMW motorcycles. The GS-911wifi has USB and wifi connectivity, allowing you to “browse” your BMW motorcycle's Electronic Control Units (ECU). It connects to a BMW motorcycle's diagnostic connector allowing you dealer level diagnostic functionality. This functionality is dependent on model and complexity but includes: * Reading of ECU information (Software versions, part numbers etc.) * Reading and Clearing of Fault Codes for every ECU * Reading of LIVE sensor input/output data * Resetting of Service reminders * Functional output tests * Advanced diagnostic functions (ECU specific, but include calibrations, adaptation resets, ABS bleed tests, etc.) The GS-911wifi is compatible with all BMW motorcycles that have the round 10pin diagnostic connector, including the new generation chassis such as the K1600GT/GTL and R1200GS LC wethead. Some of the instructions are not very clear for the average person and it’s very difficult to get responses regarding your account and how it is set up in any modifications that need to be made. Do the fact that I cannot look at my account whenever I want to and see the exact status and there are intermittent connectivity issues with the Wi-Fi I give this one star ### 2/5 — Love and hate *2026-04-02, version 2.2603.2* I really love this device but I also hate it with passion . It needs much much better instructions . Step by step …per Apple or Android . When I can manage to get the device connected to my 1250 GS. It’s an amazing device and I love it, but it’s so difficult to connect. Sometimes I can connect it and sometimes I can’t. Sometimes when I have it in D2 D mode it’s telling me to connect my hotspot because I’m in a garage with no Wi-Fi and while I’m trying to connect the hotspot it disconnects and then I gotta restart and do it all over and go into my settings. This thing is very difficult to use. I am not blasting the company because I think the company is great and whenever I call them, they have great service and they are very understanding and very very helpful and respond quickly, but I just don’t want to have to call them every six months when I use the device. I can imagine what it’s like to design something to be compatible and to work with Bmw as a company and it must be terribly difficult, but I just wish this device was easier to use. I do want to add That I have seen a lot of improvements since I’ve purchased the device and I hope they keep improving it. The problem is I paid a lot of money for this device and I wish it would just work automatically much better. ### 5/5 — Works as intended *2026-03-06, version 2.2603.1* I have been using my GS-911 WiFi across two different RT’s and it works quite well. Connecting to my network is a challenge once and awhile, but once connected I am more than able to reset service settings, etc. If you own a BMW motorcycle I would suggest getting one, either that or enjoy overpaying for service work at a dealer. ### 1/5 — Not impressed. *2026-02-21, version 2.2601.2* No longer able to connect. ### 1/5 — Terrible Customer Service *2025-12-06, version 2.2512.2* Attempted over and over again (about 10 times) to purchase products. Continued to reject credit card despite no hold from 2 credit card companies I attempted to use. No way to contact anyone about paying for purchases. No help desk. When a few payments were finally accepted, shipments are delayed, about 40% of items were actually delivered after committed delivery dates. In some cases it took almost 2 extra weeks before deliveries actually arrived. Totally inexcusable!!!! ### 5/5 — Works great *2025-11-10, version 2.2025.11.2* I don’t ever write reviews but I am so impressed by how plug and play this is that I felt compelled. Was having this weird check engine light on my r ninet and this thing diagnosed it perfectly. This thing is expensive but it pays for itself in just one missed trip to the dealership 10/10 ### 4/5 — Get something else update *2024-02-29, version 2.2402.1* Purchasing through Amazon went as expected, smooth and quick. Product on the other hand is a huge letdown. I bought the Wi-Fi edition because I didn’t want to use cables as my desktop is in another room from the bike in the garage. It does not connect via Wi-Fi to my desktop, nor my iPad as it claims. The ad claim any additional is for unlimited vehicle scan. For a total of $526 I would recommend getting the Beamer utility and save yourself $400. Which has more function and features over the GS 911. UPDATE. Even though connected to the Wi-Fi router. The router blocks the cloud function of the GS 911.. when connecting to iPad make sure on your hotspot maximize compatibility is turned on for it to work.
