Bu uygulama Galatasaray Lisesi’nin kuruluşunun 150. yılı vesilesi ve 125 Devresi’nin mezuniyetinin 25. yılı hatırasına, Galatasaray Lisesi’nde okumuş veya mezun olmuş Mektepliler’in birbirleri ile ayni iletişim ağı içinde olmalarını sağlamak amacıyla hayata geçirilmiştir. Uygulamayla tüm Mektepliler’in faaliyetlerini, her türlü destek veya yardımlaşma taleplerini birbirlerine iletebilmeleri ve birliktelerinin devamını sağlayabilmeleri hedeflenmektedir.
