But it seems unfair how the AI don’t look like they use their brakes. They corner perfectly without braking but I have to use mine. Especially on harpin type turns. I gotta hard brake/ or somewhat while the AI just taps their brake and seem to corner perfectly. And of course copying them doesn’t work, I’m either hitting the wall, or my car just slides like. Makes it unfair when your the one driving perfectly. ### 4/5 — The Game Is Good But The Waiting Time For The Upgrades Is To Much *2022-04-13, version 1.5.7* The Game Is good the graphics are Beautiful the ui is neat the maps are good even some of the maps remind me of Asphalt 8 and sometimes 9, everything is good about the game but one problem is that every time I upgrade my car it takes like 20 - 30 mins just for 1 upgrade and that’s only for the second tier I can’t even imagine tier L I just recommend you guys to decrease the waiting time or just completely remove the waiting feature from the game. ### 3/5 — Game Center Progress Restore Needs Fixing *2020-12-23, version 1.5.7* On old iPad Air, iOS 10.3.3, the game runs fine since I reinstalled to an earlier version (v 1.52, via Time Machine backup) in order for my progress to restore from Game Center (because that ability is broken with newer 64-bit versions) then I updated to latest 1.57 and all is well. On iPad Pro iOS 12 updated the app to latest and just like another review stated, progress was wiped and forced to start as new. Game Center with this app needs to be fixed to restore progress with new version, devs. Nobody wants to start all over again. Fix that, please. ### 4/5 — Not Launching *2020-05-22, version 1.5.5* Before I begin, I just want to say that this is one of the best racing games I played when this first came pit. I forgot about it for about 5 years, and finally found it! I was excited to play it again until this weird glitch started to occur. When I try to launch the game, it shows me the ”Welcome to GT Racing 2” screen. And it keeps looping on that same intro. Can you guys please fix it, or show me how to fix it? I would really like to play this game again. 😔 ### 4/5 — Game seems great like the first one BUT! *2019-11-18, version 1.5.5* Unlike the first one back on iOS 6 this has improvements that’s great, but the ads there are ads in the game, the first one came from a day of ads weren’t much of a thing then. I’d for sure buy the game if there was an option without ads. Only thing I can say is bad there are the in game purchases but that’s in every game and they have ads to. Basically your enjoying the game race over then bam! Ad or even at the tuning ad shows. ### 2/5 — Great But Doesn’t work *2019-11-07, version 1.5.5* I love this game. It’s so much fun to play and it offers a challenge. Even tho it may be a bit pay to progress it’s still a lot of fun. HOWEVER I recently re-downloaded it and now it won’t even work. EVERY TIME I open the app the main intro cut scene starts to play but after the cut scene is finished it just restarts again. Like after the title “GT Racing2” pops up, it just starts the intro cut scene with the cars racing all over again. I can’t even play it and I can’t skip the cut scene. I even waited for thirty minutes and for thirty minutes this kept happening. Please fix this thank you!! ### 3/5 — Would be Great... *2018-12-05, version 1.5.3* I’ve played the game a little bit and so far I’ve liked the gameplay, the car selection, and the graphics. The one thing that makes this game hard to play is that the top bar (this includes the back button, the shop button, and much more) does not work well. I’m using an IPhone 6s and it takes me 5 to 10 times to get the button to register. This makes the game hard to play out of the racing. I would give this game 5 stars if that glitch wasn’t there. If I could give it 3.5 I would ### 4/5 — Good Graphics, Okay Gameplay *2018-11-23, version 1.5.3* The game has great graphics and a good selection of licensed cars (which I will only play games with licensed vehicles) but the driving could be better. The first person view is great, but when driving, you have to turn way too early and brake way too early otherwise you hit the wall. I feel like the game makes it harder and less realistic when turning and braking. I hit the wall ALL the time, and it’s not because I’m bad at the game, it’s that the game is TOO sensitive! I also have upgraded an Alfa Romeo Mito and the game said it was green, (which means your car is upgraded sufficiently to be competitive in that race) yet I got passed up like I was sitting still! The game also slows you down WAY TOO MUCH when you hit something. The last thing is something that I absolutely HATE. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make a feature so that you can sell one of your cars and make a little bit of money off of it. (Not as much as we paid for it so that way the car goes down in value and people can’t buy a car and then sell it and not lose any money for it.) Also, there used to be a Tesla Model S in this game, but I don’t see it ANYWHERE in the car shopping area. I remember it used to be there, but now there’s nothing that says Tesla as a car brand ANYWHERE. Thanks! ### 4/5 — Mini games cause crashes *2017-12-11, version 1.5.2* Title says it all. It used to be just twice a day. I could put up with that..crash, reopen, crash, reopen and play. Now there's a barrage of mini games, constant crashes. I can understand that the developers need funders to maintain the app, but there needs to be a limit. Otherwise, a great game will be a useless one since it's unplayable. Edit: been checking and playing these past few days and I've noticed that the mini games are gone. I really appreciate this and thanks for making this playable again. ### 3/5 — iOS 11 Support *2017-09-30, version 1.5.2* Hey Gameloft I was wondering if you can do iOS 11 support because I loved this game when I was on iOS 10 and I was looking on my software update on my settings and I was like “OOOOHHHHH IOS 11 IMA INSTALL IT” and when I did I looked at my App Store I wanted to look at my games and when I saw it I saw the little blue cloud with the arrow when you want to install the app again but wait a sec THE CLOUD WAS GRAY when I tapped on the game icon I saw a message saying “This game doesn’t support with iOS 11” I was like NOOOOOOOOO so then I wrote this message to let you Gameloft update the game for iOS 11 and thank you for reading this Gameloft and all the others if you are. Bye! 🙂👋 ### 3/5 — Repetitious *2017-01-27, version 1.5.2* Good graphics, nice selection of cars, tracks are really repetitious and the actual game play needs work. (Handling, braking etc..) it practically impossible to play with out the controller assistants on. Also there are things quirks in the game that are reminiscent of old sega/Nintendo games. For instance if you bump/pick or try to physically block another car they instantly/magically somehow overpower you instead and turbo off into the distance.. BS! And you can tell it's been programmed to have the opposing cars in the lead slow down and or mess up near the end of most races after they've been leading the whole time just to let you win. I guess what I'm saying is it's lacking some little things that would make the game more realistic and entertaining. Also it would be better if you could customize the cars. ### 3/5 — Great Demolition Derby game... Oh, wait..... *2016-10-30, version 1.5.2* Yes, this is a racing game but the only way to win is to physically knock the other racers out of your way. The AI are not realistic whatsoever. They try to win at any cost. Just a small example: if YOU go off track (if if THEY knock you off), you WILL slow down. If THEY go off track, their speed is not impacted whatsoever. You can't pass them off track, but they sure as heck can, and will, pass you. Yes, this is fun, but mostly extremely frustrating. And to those who think I might have given up early, I'm at level 23. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — The reviews are lies! *2020-12-18, version 1.5.7* I bet they payed people to give them good reviews, and the game is ok, but a SIM for the phone is reel rasing E (That is the name of the sim so this does not get deleted like my last review) . This is an arcade mixed with sim, so you get infant grip like In arcades, and when you loose grip, you understeer like crazy. And you have the braking of a sim. If you want proof that I know what a sim is like, well I play Forsa Motorzport V// (also so this does not get deleted) If you want a sim, get something like Reel Rasing E that simulates everything you need except for wheel spin, torque steer, understeer, and oversteer. Reel Rasing E is not comparable to Forsa in physics, but because it’s mobile, it might even be better. ### 1/5 — My previous i cloud achievments has been gone *2019-07-27, version 1.5.3* please..solve my problem...my account in the game that have been in it since 2014 have been gone with my achievment.. I was having many of cars and champions..all of it has gone.. when the game was not compatible with ios 11 this was the cause that prevent me from continue to play the game,So I delete it on my Ipad but keep my i cloud information hoping that the game will return back ...Now after these 4 years ..when I download it again..I shocked with this problem..my achievments..my cars..my champions..did not uploaded again as I opened it with the I cloud account..please solve this problem..many thanks ### 1/5 — Gimmicky *2017-08-06, version 1.5.2* My biggest problem with this game is that it only allows discounts on cars when you don't have the coins to buy them, thereby requiring you to pay real money if you want to maximize how far your coins will go. This is gimmicky and manipulative, don't fall for it. Also requires you to use the most valuable currency in game to beat the special events and doesn't always give you the cars you won by completing the event. Underhanded. Game crashes often, usually when you have rewards you haven't claimed. It's fun to play for the most part, but very frustrating when other cars swerve in from of you for no reason or when the degree of turning required is in the dead zone between going straight and finally registering the turn. ### 1/5 — Don' waste your time *2017-04-29, version 1.5.2* I played this game for a last year and almost finished it without cheat and donate. And then Gameloft just banned my account without any reason. I tried to contact support and got the answer that there was no mistake, they can't unban my account. I wasn't informed about the reason of ban. My ios devices aren't jaibroken, the game wasn't modded and was downloaded through appstore. I'm not the only one who experienced the same problem, there are a lot of gamers around the world who have the ban without any explanation. Gameloft banned their accounts without refunding the money they spent. Don't waist your time and money!!! I'm not gonna spend a cent for Gameloft games. R.I.P. Gameloft!!! ### 1/5 — Previous reviews deleted *2017-03-06, version 1.5.2* This game is great as far as the graphics go, but it is very repetitive and gets boring. The game is very easy to play once you get the hang of it and memorize the tracks. Been playing for over 3 years and have all cars. Don't play as much any more because of the ads and game crashes, but still enjoy the occasional race. Gameloft engineers stopped supporting this game just over a year ago, so the same bugs that have plagued this game for years will continue to be issues. My wife has been playing for as long as I have and has all cars except for the Savage Winter, which is not a purchase car, so I guess she will never get to finish the game 100% like I have. Get rid of the ads and offer ALL cars fir sale when you say you are during the holidays. Don't leave one car out there saying Win this car! Stay tuned. My wife has stayed tuned for years. The game does get annoying, but I still play even though I have nothing else to win. Have over 300 million coins and $80,000 that I'll never use because every car is maxed out. Read the reviews. The problems are real and will never be fixed. Getting kicked off of your team and being demoted to rookie has always been an issue and is the most frustrating. Has happened to me multiple times after being ranked as high as #5 in the USA. It has happened to a multitude of players. Really, the game is easy, but you have to deal with game problems and player cheating. ### 1/5 — Can't compete, if you can't CHEAT! *2017-02-01, version 1.5.2* Game plays GREAT! Apple does NOT allow you to enter cheat codes. You have to compete to win certain cars. All fair enough. Although non IOS competitors, with 5% of time in game, have access to unlimited premium cash. With unlimited premium cash, on the other platforms, players can purchase unlimited assists and or boosts. This amounts to roughly a 10 second advantage per lap. If you spend money on premium cash, on IOS, do NOT expect to place better in competitions. $150 spent to date for Bugatti Veyron and $24,000 premium cash at a weekend discount. ### 1/5 — What a waste *2017-01-17, version 1.5.2* of time keeping this game for 3 years. The bugs that have plagued this game from day 1 continue. Multiplayer races don't register, steering issues and worse yet, spending weeks or months grinding to bring up my rating only to be demoted to Rookie over & over. The ads are extremely annoying and slow the game down, if not kill it. The lie about having ALL cars for sale at Christmas time year after year, only to have the Savage Winter never available for sale, which is the last car I have needed for 2 years now. Hey Gameloft, stop saying one thing and doing another. This used to be a great game, but with the lack of support or caring for the players is, along with the horrible ads, is destroying this game! Surprise when I return few days ago. I been banned to play the game. Well then you have to go to the customer site... way too much time consuming for a bug in their game. No I don't want to take the time to fill out your all list of questions and names... so I'm not buying any additional $$ or cars for your game. Is that why you bane people? Not a good way... keep your game, I already delete from my iPhone. ### 1/5 — Designed to make you pay - No enjoyable to drive *2015-08-20, version 1.5.2* This game is designed to take all your money. Even if you ended spending 50 or 80 bucks on this thing. Which already would be comparable to REAL driving simulators. You would end up paying even more to play ALL the game. And you don't even get new circuits or features, just different cars that offer the same experience. Speaking about cars: The simulation is so fake. Specially in rear-wheel drive cars, which are so unpredictable it's not even funny. I was enjoying it at the beginning. But not anymore. ### 2/5 — GT Racing2 *2019-12-11, version 1.5.5* I would love to give this app a much higher rating because it is an excellent game with terrific gameplay and graphics. I have been playing this game for a few years. Unfortunately there was an update and I lost the ability to get rated in multiplayer and special GT races as well as losing ~200,000,000 coins and tens of thousands of $$. My stats were gone and guessing non-recoverable. It appears there is little support for this game when there is a problem. Also, racers with cheat codes are rampant and it is unmonitored so only once in a while you will win real prizes. This is the real car experience. *2022-04-28, version 1.5.7* Evidently, from my last racing experience in this game, Gameloft has clearly addressed the crashing issues and not Gt racing 2 works phenomenally, especially offline where it won’t lag while maintaining an internet connection. Then again, this is a Gameloft racing app so you already know they’ll nail the detail. Braking assist and steering assist are surprisingly accurate and very realistic in the performance aspect; The cars even veer like the actual models, suspension and all and I’ve honestly never seen a game portray the physics as accurately when it comes to the turns. You gun the throttle on any sharp turn in this game and the vehicle skids violently just like irl which is a factor not many othe games include. Summarizing the game itself, there are hardly any problems and All I will say is just play the game. The realistic driving sensation of gt racing 2 is unbelievable. ### 5/5 — Game Won’t Load *2020-11-29, version 1.5.5* I played an older version on my Kindle Fire (1st Generation) before it stopped working. When I finally got this back after several years of separation from it, it was working for a time, but then the screen went black, and still is. THE GAME WON’T EVEN LOAD! I had all my favorite cars, lots of achievements, etc. until the app got removed off the App Store! I had to delete the app off my iPad because it took up too much storage and it didn’t even work as it said it was removed off the store. For months after that I tried finding new racing apps but never really FOUND one that I liked as much as I used to like this app, GT racing 2. But just yesterday I was checking it out online and found that people other than me also had problems with it being removed. Today I was looking and clicked the app and it came up on the App Store! I saw that they just had a new update yesterday. I really hope it stays this time! I missed playing this game so much! And now that the iPads run ios 11. This game is no longer compatible as it is an old 32 bit. And so far it doesn’t seem like gameloft cares about this great game any longer as no update or even a real racing 3 is on the horizon. So. Would I would recommend going too real racing 3 or Gearclub for racing needs both are very good and look great. Oh p.s this game is fun but need more realistic realism thanks sincerely JimmyJohnson ### 5/5 — Easy to be disappointed if you don't have patience to learn *2016-09-11, version 1.5.2* This is not an easy game. I've driven SCCA on Laguna Seca many times so I know the track in real life racing. At first I could barely make it around at all till I realized that the game was modeling rear wheel spin when I hit the gas to early. I also had to learn that to apply power slowly required tapping on the gas since we don't have pressure sensitive control. I've only played a little but I am testing if the game models aero well. I've not driven the real class of car that the Bentley is but I'm told that if you hit 6 at over 150 in an aero car it sticks. Under 150 it will not until you get down to where mechanical grip will hold it. None of the opponent cars are going through at 150 but I think I have once or twice. It's hard to time where you don't hit one of the guys who are way too slow around that corner. So as you can tell this game requires a lot of thought and finesse. By the way every car reacts differently so you have to learn what works with each one ### 5/5 — Great game *2016-05-31, version 1.5.2* This game is awesome. It is an all in one racing game.
