By original I mean the one that was used for the ps2. I have to use the zoom from settings to have it look the way it use to up close to the screen. On recommended settings graphics are blurry and color grading and shadows makes it hard to see everything. I could barely see the bike at the start of the game. It blended into the blurry fence. On highest settings game is better, but the small control buttons and shading still makes it much harder to see things in the game. This distracts from the joy of playing the game. Ended up going back to original version and am now enjoying the game again. ### 4/5 — HELP!!!! After initially buying the original, I thought that purchasing the Definitive Edition would make the gameplay experience even better—and that it would be an open-world title without equal. However, upon launching the game and discovering that 60 FPS was missing—unlike in the original—I was disappointed. It is literally difficult to play. All the graphical beauty becomes meaningless without a smooth frame rate. Rockstar, PLEASE add 60 FPS. I would be extremely grateful. I am deeply disappointed in a game that boasts beautiful graphics yet lacks a simple 60 FPS option. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — It’s pretty good *2026-08-07, version 1.86* I haven’t really had much issues during my run so far. My only concerns are that they should have increased the minimum requirement for devices. I don’t use androids and for iPhones, the minimum requirement should be the iPhone 12 and higher. They should also come back and fix some bugs that have been in the game like lamp posts and traffic lights falling through the ground and to optimize the game further. In conclusion the game has been a blast and definitely has better visuals and looks so much better than the original SA port. If you have a device that’s near the minimum requirement, you should be aware of some optimization and performance issues.
