Nor for some reason all of a sudden wont update to gold package which i had all along. Now the app returned my money for that my accounts all of a sudden can not connect to your plaid i have tried via email text messages, voice messages and to no avail no support returns calls emails or anything else is this app out of business. Can’t get help to fix problems with update ### 1/5 — Absolute trash and stealing my money *2025-10-31, version 3.9.6* I've been trying to contact support for months and they initially responded, but when I asked them to help me transfer my funds to an account they stopped responding after I emailed them 2x in a row. Looks like I have over $900 stuck in my account from 2021 that they seem to have no problem ignoring and not helping me get out of my account. These people are scammers and are ignoring every attempt I've made so far to try and get my money back. Go ahead and prove me wrong but I'm not holding my breath. I need an entire month's rent worth of money in there right now. Genuinely disappointed in humanity. ### 1/5 — Account Drained/ Money Lost *2025-10-29, version 3.9.5* I went into the app this month to find my entire account drained to $0. You can see where money has been deposited and no withdrawals, but the account balance was $0. I have reached out to customer support multiple times and can’t get any response. ### 1/5 — Withdrawal *2025-10-27, version 3.9.5* This is my third review. I started trying to withdraw my money on 6/2/25. Guess what? It’s 10/27/25 and still no money. I have gotten sparse communication- more lies. The latest one once again promised a check. I verified my address ect… that was four days ago with no response. They do not respond to customer needs and concerns in a timely manner. Mind you, this started in June, 2025. It is now almost November. I am about to Initiate legal action against QUAC. I have notified BBB and consumer protection agency. Do not use these people! They do not respond to phone calls- they are always helping another customer. ### 1/5 — Avoid At All Costs *2025-10-27, version 3.9.5* I’ve had this app for almost 4 years now and absolutely loved it. It was a literal asset so it pains me to write this review but as of late, my funds are locked in the app. When I try to withdraw them, it says that my account is locked for “reason unknown”. NO ONE will answer the support line and I’ve been trying for three weeks. Emails have been sent and voicemails have been left. Nothing. Concerned for my bank accounts safety, I’ve tried to delete my information from the app and it will not remove my bank info. Their customer support is trash. Don’t download this app. UPDATE: they responded to this post claiming that we spoke? We have never spoke. No email has been answered, no phone call has been answered. I was able to move my money out of the account but regardless, these people still have my bank account information because the app WONT LET ME DELETE the info. This app had such potential and I really miss using it but once they showed how terrible their customer support is, I will never recommend Guac again. Please answer your users emails and requests are take this app off the grid. ### 1/5 — New changes= need for different App *2025-10-17, version 3.9.5* I’ve used the app for years. Whatever banking partner they changed to rejected my change over info, which was the same as it has always been… now I can’t figure out how to resubmit my info, despite still being able to log into my account. Looking for a new similar app, since this seems to be a common problem for everyone and some people haven’t received money back!! ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work now *2025-10-15, version 3.9.5* App was great before the change over. Tried to setup the process after following their instructions and now when I enter the verification code the screen goes dark and can’t see anything. Tried deleting and downloading the app multiple times and no luck. Time to move on to something better. ### 1/5 — Guac Stole My Money *2025-10-15, version 3.9.5* I’ve used this app for years without issue, but a little over a month ago they took over $800 from my account. I’ve emailed support many times over the past month and they won’t respond. I called their support phone number and their voicemail was full. I called again a week ago and their voicemail wasn’t full anymore, so I left a message. They still haven’t responded. If they’ve cleared space in their voicemail then they’ve got someone there to check it. They’re thieves plain and simple. ### 1/5 — Withdrawal *2025-10-11, version 3.9.5* This is my second review. I started trying to withdraw my money on 6/2/25. Guess what? It’s 10/11/25 and still no money. I have been lied to repeatedly about sending me a check- and that’s if they even bother to respond. I’m tired of fighting with them about what’s mine! More often than not, their voicemail box is full. Garbage customer service only one person works there. Could never get anyone on the phone. Email forget it you’ll never get a response. ### 1/5 — My savings disappeared *2025-10-10, version 3.9.5* Honestly was a decent app for a few years. About a month ago it appears some update happened that resulted in ALL of my funds disappearing completely. MAYBE there’s some reasonable explanation for what happened, and MAYBE it gets fixed…eventually. But at the time of this review I’ve made over 30 calls to “customer service” and sent several emails to “support” and have heard absolutely nothing back at all. If the app took a dump then customer service is no doubt the toilet. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Bad support *2026-05-06, version 3.9.13* I have called multiple times and emailed multiple times about reconnecting my Honey source because I’m getting an error message. Nobody answers and nobody replies. This has happened to me on a previous issue several months ago. ### 1/5 — Awful app *2026-04-24, version 3.9.13* Guac is the most glitchy app I’ve ever used which is terrifying since it’s linked to bank accounts. I’ve been trying to delete my account and keep getting an error. No shocker there. Awful. ### 1/5 — Inconvenient *2026-03-11, version 3.9.13* The app is intuitive and easy to use. It is incredibly difficult to transfer money out of the app should you need it. It will tell you there is a pending withdrawal, therefore a new withdrawal cannot be made. That pending withdrawal, at least in my case, occurred 90 days ago. It’s incredibly frustrating. I plan to cancel/close as there are other far easier savings apps out there to use. ### 1/5 — Horrible- is anyone home ? *2026-02-10, version 3.9.12* Horrible app, always having an update that they give NO heads up for and allege it’s to “improve customer experience”. I think they’re winging it as they go along. Customer service is almost non existent and when you do get a response it’s never consistent. The concept itself is awesome but execution has been belowwwwwww subpar ### 1/5 — Mediocre app *2025-12-29, version 3.9.12* Super convenient for saving while you spend but I have reached out multiple times to the support email and have never received a response. There has been several times where the app updates and it takes over two weeks to show that my funds are still in the app. As of right now it’s been three weeks and it shows I have no money in the app. Last I checked I had close to $1000 and now I cannot access it and it shows no history of it being there at all. Even though I am logged in. ### 1/5 — Customer support is awful *2025-12-13, version 3.9.10* I've been trying to contact support for months and they initially responded, but when I asked them to help me transfer my funds to an account they stopped responding. For a very long time I have almost $1,000 stuck in my account and they're simply not helping me transfer it to my bank. They have ignored every attempt I've made to contact them while I'm here needing my one money. Never been more disappointed by an app or customer service. ### 1/5 — Awful *2025-12-12, version 3.9.10* I used Guac for a long time with no issues. I was able to save up for a much needed vacation trip. Then they switched banks. I followed the instructions that were emailed countless times. Transferred my savings to my bank account and deleted my account. Again, as instructed. The instructions then said to create a new account. Well, I can’t. It throws an error at me each time I try saying it’s unable to create the account. No reason why. I have contacted support more than once, but never received a response. The app is useless now. I had finally found a straightforward, easy way to tuck money away. Really disappointed. ### 1/5 — Trash App and Horrible Customer Support *2025-12-06, version 3.9.9* If I could rate this app zero stars, I would. I have been using Guac since 2021 with no problem and loved it. That is, until September of this year. I went in to the app to transfer my money out and found that my bank information had been deleted from my Guac account without my knowledge or consent. The app does not offer any way to add my bank information back so my money is essentially being held hostage. I have called and emailed multiple times since September and it is now December. In that time, I have only received one response to my email asking for my Guac account information, which I already provided. Their customer support is garbage and they are holding my money. I have since reported the app to the Better Business Bureau, so we’ll see where that goes. Do not trust this app with your money. ### 1/5 — Stole $7000 *2025-11-20, version 3.9.6* Guac said they were switching to a different banking partner and needed me to verify my account. This required me to open the app and verify information they already had pertaining to my account. I did this in a matter of minutes and it said it was verified. A day later funds (over 7,000 dollars) were not there. Balance showed $0 with no withdrawal or transfer pending. I thought it was glitch and gave them the benefit of the doubt. This has been call after call, email after email, with not a single response. Months have passed and no sign of my money. ### 1/5 — Useless *2025-11-17, version 3.9.6* I've been a GUAC user since 2021, and everything worked perfectly at first. Then, out of nowhere, my Chase account started requiring verification every other day. I reached out multiple times: sent several emails and even spoke directly with Ryan on the phone. Each time I was told, "We'll look into it," but nothing ever happened. Then GUAC suddenly switched to a new banking provider, and my account became completely unusable. I called customer service again, and they assured me they could manually reset my account; all I had to do was text my full name and the email associated with my account. I did exactly that, but it was a complete waste of time—no response, no reset, nothing. Now the app is totally useless, and I've been left with no working account and zero support. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Bad support *2026-03-05, version 3.9.13* I have not been able to get into my Guac app for a week now and all I get is an Oops message saying to contact support. Seems unprofessional and not an app I would want to recommend if you can’t get into it. I have sent two emails with no response from the company.
