The images are superbly done and the flow of the story is not at all undermined or disrupted by the player making choices. Combat’s a little easy to cheese on replays, not relying on clever tactical chaining of moves, but it’s easily made up for by the creative branching storyline. The choices are often all equally reasonable and really let you play as you wish, with only a few leading to immediate denials (ie. death). I’m looking forward to the future instalments with bated breath - fairly sure I’ve made some ‘poor’ choices that will bite me later but hey! It’s simply amazing. The only issue I have is when your choices pop up it blocks the story and it’s unable to read. Please try and remedy this before Chapter 2. The issue of cut off text can be frustrating. With the team working on ep.2 I doubt we’ll get a fix. ### 3/5 — Issue with iPhone X. *2019-10-17, version 1.0* So far it seems like an enjoyable story, but it’s almost too frustrating to play. I’m not sure if the is an issue restricted to iPhone Xs or later, but the choice selections at the bottom of the screen cover up the text of the story. I cannot seem to find a way to avoid or fix this. Other than love it and it’s a super fun story and very engaging ### 4/5 — This is amazing *2021-06-24, version 1.0* I love this, I didn’t quite know what I was doing in the beginning but after dying a few times and having to redo it from further back I figured it out fast 😂 I love how you can make the choices and different things happen and you learn more things. The soundtrack is phenomenal and I love being able to listen to the different native birds. Can’t wait for the full game version. The Maori cultural elements offer a new kind of world and warrior, which was exciting.
