What would be helpful is telling me which battery needs replacing so that I a) don’t have to call Guardian to ask which battery, or b) don’t needlessly replace batteries. Regret ever signing up for this *2025-10-06, version 5.11.2* Bought a new home and got setup with this system. Had high expectations before and it all seems good before activation date. There so many features that users come to expect from modern system that they do not support. For example, I cannot set the this to monitor some doors and other not monitor. For example, not possible to monitor the front doors while allowing the back doors to be unmonitored when you are sitting on the deck and want security in front but not in back doors. Another example if geofencing. Alarm should be activated automatically when leaving the home, this is not possible. The app is also extremely old and difficult to use. Unfortunately was convinced into signing up. Regret that decision. The App is visually appealing, but that’s where the positives end. Opening options on the app menus really get you nowhere except frustrated. Something as simple as changing Wi-Fi routers is way overly complicated to navigate to the multiple windows which lead you to options that you don’t allow you to edit. Then when you call customer service. You get zero help which forces you to open a ticket and then you have to wait. System is garbage. Luckily I’ve never had to test out their emergency response. I can’t imagine it’s any better. ### 3/5 — Only 1 problem *2024-12-06, version 5.6* I absolutely hate the thermostat setting routine. I find it very difficult to get the temperature set at different times the way I want it to automatically be. I hate the sliding scale. An example is a notification form your doorbell, by the time you finally get the video to pull up, the person at the door is already gone. It also takes a while for the videos to load into your activity feed. Impossible to get assistance unless you set off the alarm. Smoke and CO detectors go on fritz and just replacing batteries will trigger a visit from your friendly neighborhood firefighters. Despite Guardian calling and speaking with a representative to not send out the fire department, they send them out anyway. This is no good since I will eventually be fined.
