I like almost everything about it however the percentages should better for the player. What I'm talking about is if the enemy has a 50% dodge chance then what will happen is the enemy will dodge 8 times out of 8 hits. So I try to hit it 8 times and It dodges 8 times so I use my own ability to dodge the Attack called footwork ( it has a 75% dodge chance) And I use it when the enemy tries to Attack me, Guess what happens it hits me FIRST TRY! I just don't understand the logic behind this. Btw the chances of the enemy hitting my consecutively 8 times is 0.00390625% chance so yeah plz fix it ### 5/5 — An amazing game!!! *2019-04-29, version 2.5* Guardian Sword surprisingly a very deep strategy game, with a vast variety of special tiles, each with unique uses and all useful in some part of the game. The boss fights start out quite easy, but nearing the end I was struggling to beat each boss, having to revive myself once or twice to eventually win the fight. The dialogue makes many references to pop culture and is never boring to read, the signs are optional to read but are helpful from time to time, when their not, they often give small bits of lore about the area or bosses. Moreover, the game encourages backtracking, by having a lot of secret bosses scattered around the map, each guardian powerful purple tiles and even skills which are incredibly powerful, which make the game significantly easier. Not to mention, the secret plot twist with the secret final final boss of the game was well done and I enjoyed seeing it. Overall, this is a great game with cool fighting systems that require problem solving skills, with witty dialogue and difficult boss fights, as well as many optional secret bosses and gear. ### 5/5 — Great game *2019-03-28, version 2.5* surprisingly deep and fun game, which lots of new things thrown at you once you get used to the gameplay. animation and combat was satisfying to the end, and there’s plenty of secrets and strategies to explore ### 5/5 — Highly recommend *2019-01-26* This is one of the best free to play games on the ios store. There are some “premium” options, but with some grinding you can nullify needing them. To be honest its a situation where you aren’t forced and hardly mind spending a few bucks. Gameplay is the basic match system, there are some special pieces that enhance matches. A good storyline, although I have never been one for things like that. I just play and speed through the cut scenes (thank you for allowing that.) Overall it is worth a shot if you aren’t sure whether you want to try it. Их никто не знает и не узнает при такой подаче. ### 2/5 — Fun to play for a short term but not worth it in the end. *2018-05-31* I have been looking for a replacement for Dungeon Raid (not updated to iOS 11) and figured this looked fun. For a few hours sure it is. However there are some game mechanics like enemy dodge (50% miss) that get annoying after a while. There are four basic blocks melee(red), ranged(yellow), shield(green) and mana(blue). Melee damage scales faster than ranged but with the amount of flying enemies (can’t be hit by melee) it seems to be more efficient to take the less damage. There are also special blocks that you can choose between and have a chance of popping up in the level. Things like matching a fireball block with mana to deal a bunch of defense ignoring damage to picking up all tiles of one type one screen. It is a neat idea but some fights negate an entire base block type (like flying) or reduce you to a specific type (like using ranged on flying magic immune enemies) making all the other blocks useless. The idea is you have to customize your character for the fight you’re about to do. There is a solid amount of customization here. Your character gains levels to increase base stats which will imposed how much a single block will give. You also have a minion that can follow you around and automatically cast different buffs or attacks. Mix in some powers that cost mana along with gear that you can upgrade for currency and you can get deep into this. End of the day though while not a bad game it wasn’t what I was looking for. I was becoming annoyed after while of having to deal with high health, high defense (which you have to beat first each time you want to deal damage), flying, magic immune enemies that have dodge. When trying to solve a puzzle it gets grating fighting tedious fights that won’t kill me but take more turns to beat due to missing four attacks in a row due to RNG. Spend a few hours on it then toss it in a folder somewhere and forget about it for a few months. ### 2/5 — Buggy *2016-09-05, version 2.3* Dark forest [4] is bugged. Horn doesn't work. Fix it. ### 2/5 — Gets super hard way to quickly *2016-06-25, version 2.3* If you are foolish enough to upgrade your hp or mp at lvl up you already lost the game. The rhino hits by 50 so if you don't grind for best armor you die. The slime has a def of 40 so unless grind best sword you can't hit it without waiting for magic fireball spell. Eventually you can forge your equipment to make it ridiculously good but of course requires real money. Not worth the grind. It starts off very simple, but new mechanics and abilities are added throughout the game, all the way to the end. Drawing paths of matching gems to make big combos is endlessly satisfying. Finding a way out of a tough situation by seeing a hidden path using the special pieces always feels great. I finally got all the achievements as this game was enjoyable enough for me to want to 100% complete it. Using different builds is required as the game changes your encounters are requires you to adapt your play. So you get to test various methods of combating enemies. Play this game. In fact, it is the best it deserves as close to five stars as it can get, I would pay again to play this game. It’s so good if they came out with a sequel I’d be happy to pay 10 bucks, as long as it doesn’t have a bunch of stuff to buy inside. If you’ve never played this year, lucky that you get an opportunity to enjoy it if you played it reinstall like I am, let’s see how a game goes this developers, the only one that makes games that I have ever played more than once. ### 5/5 — More than typical match 3 *2023-03-27* This is a true match 3 rpg/story based. The game play isn’t linear. As in most of these game types follow a theme in a straight line, this one has you follow the map but requires you to go back to visited areas after you have obtained certain items in order to proceed, kinda like Zelda. You end up playing much more than for a real console game! (And the console all together!). All games tend to just be money making machines with no real love on them. Actually if you expend any is out of gratitude to the company that brought you such a great game!. I can say that about way too few other games out there.
