A call to customer support created an additional level of confusion. At this point I want to get rid of the entire system. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — 👎 *2022-04-12, version 2.3.1* Bad bad bad can’t even log in to look at the cameras away from home ### 1/5 — No Longer Manufactured or Supported *2022-02-11, version 2.3.1* My sister-in-law asked me to assist her because as of a few weeks ago, this app stopped allowing her to log into manage her cameras outside of her home. I tested from several other phones, and with several other Uniden apps, but none of them worked. I ended up calling the support line, and they informed me that as of the time of this review (February 11, 2022), it has been seven years since they manufactured camera systems, and they no longer support them in any way. The reason why I rate this one star is because there is no indication given whatsoever, on this app or on the Uniden website, that the cameras are no longer supported and the app is useless. What’s more, the app still allows you to register a new account despite not allowing you to login to manage that account. The least they could’ve done was email their existing users to inform them that the app is no longer working or supported, or block new account registrations, or have a pop-up a peer of some kind with this information. It’s the least you can do for a customer who may have been saddled with a camera system that is now dead through no fault of their own. ### 1/5 — Terrible *2022-01-25, version 2.3.1* Never works, at home or away! Worked some what ok for a few months now worthless system due no remote access on cell and 2 iPads. Currently only viewable on home wifi or the screen plugged into the dvr. It will not let you fast forward or pick a time frame to view prerecorded video. For now ### 3/5 — Can’t review remote playback *2018-01-08, version 2.1.1* I can login and see a live feed without issue. I then try to view remote playback and it begins at 12am of the current day. There is a green slider to change the time but that doesn’t change what’s in view. It continues rolling from 12am. Is there a manual for this app? Suggested feature: Be able to select a default device to view once the app opens. ### 3/5 — $1000 security system and a worthless app *2017-01-08, version 2.1* My original review of this app gave was a 1 star rating. I would add that it was an aggravated one star. I am now revising that to 3 stars because the system is much improved. The notifications still don't work as advertised, but the app is useful at this point. My constructive criticism is to remove the extra clicks required to get to cameras and to fix notifications. Each of those fixes will add a star. There is potential here now where there was none a short time ago.
