I can feel that the developers have put a lot of time and care into developing something fresh and fun here but I can’t help but find the paywall frustrating. $8 is a pretty fair price for unlimited play, but it’s a fairly complicated game as you unlock more ‘gubbins’ and if you’re only playing one quick game in the morning you could easily get overwhelmed the next day trying to remember how things work or what your strategies are. I think it would benefit a lot from a free trial period for new players even if it’s just two or three days.
