Free headlines is good enough for me. The paper is not that great anyway, and Guelph is not a huge place. They even charge you to use they're website now after 1-3 articles! CRV has an ap that has local news from the Kitchener area and it's free! Sorry Guelph Mercury, you lost my support when you got money hungry- if you need money use advertisements to get your cash. This version works and it's a great simple app. It does not try to be fancy like some other newspaper apps that get in the way of your experience. It's a good simple app that gets the job done. Even 5-6 restarts doesn't force the app to open, and I have to wait until the next day and hope the offending error has been fixed or the offending story has been pushed off the front page.
