Pointless app ### 1/5 — Waste of time *2023-11-12, version 23.6.5* I requested a taxi for my elderly grand parents on a Sunday afternoon. Someone accepted the job then cancelled me as a no show because he confused my address with one in the vale. I then couldn’t rebook because the app wouldn’t let me! So I tried to rebook on my husbands app. The driver called and cancelled as it seems like the drivers only work certain areas and the app doesn’t tell them which area the client is in. What’s worse was the driver left the job open so I couldn’t rebook and then I show on my app didn’t allow me to rebook! I have yet to use this app successfully. ### 1/5 — Hoped it would work… but no *2023-07-06, version 23.5* Firstly wouldn’t recognise my address Secondly tried to book for an hours time to get a message saying minimum 6 hrs notice So tried to book for tomorrow evening to get a message that maximum 6 hrs notice! Go figure. Whoever wrote this app is an idiot. ### 1/5 — Useless App *2025-07-21, version 24.8.1* Tried to use one evening to book a taxi to take me to the airport mid-morning the following day. I got an error message saying I couldn't book a taxi more than 7 hours in advance. Tried to book it at breakfast time next morning. Received a message saying: (1) the minimum notice period for pre-bookings is 7 hours! (2) recommending I use the ASAP. I did that and the app then hung (whirring wheel) at the "finding you a taxi" stage. Reverted to Googling some taxi firms and then ringing one of them ### 1/5 — Useless *2025-06-28, version 24.8.1* Doesn’t work at all, just had to walk home alone not showing any available taxis despite 4-5 driving past me. Worse than useless ### 1/5 — Just doesn’t work *2024-11-07, version 24.8.1* Try to pre-book a trip - minimum notice 7 hours… ok try and book with more than 7 hours notice - maximum notice 6 hours… Nice one 👍 ### 1/5 — Worst app *2024-08-31, version 24.8.1* Worst app. You can’t prebook because it says you need to give them 7 hours notice and then to book on the morning it says you have to give them 6 hours notice. Shocking, the taxi app needs sorting!! ### 1/5 — Zero stars! *2024-07-24, version 24.8.1* Absolutely useless app, tried to make an advance booking but wouldn’t let me. I’ve travelled all over the world and nowhere have I ever had such difficulty booking a cab, many phone numbers on airport website not in use or taxi companies not bothering to respond, what a shambles. So many tried and tested exemplars out there they could have taken inspiration from. Unfortunately, the interface is clunky and the address search is very restricted and unable to find many addresses at all. This forces you to search for locations on the map which isn’t accessible for users with particular access needs. ### 1/5 — Terrible app *2024-05-10, version 23.6.5* As other reviewers have found: tried to book the night before my flight and was told it needed a maximum of 6 hours. Tried this morning from the airport and was told it needed a minimum of 7 hours! ### 1/5 — No taxis *2024-02-12, version 23.6.5* The app is pointless as there are never any taxis to pick you up. Don’t bother downloading it, you’ll just be wasting your time. ### 1/5 — It doesn’t work. *2023-12-28, version 23.6.5* If you book ahead then it tells you the maximum booking ahead time is six hours. So you wait until six hours before and then it tells you the minimum time is seven hours. So it is impossible to book ahead. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Brilliant! *2025-01-01, version 24.8.1* I use this app all the time, I have (and will) recommend to anyone! You can set your pick up/drop off locations with ease, and the taxis come within 5 minutes (dependant on bank holidays etc) - I managed to get a taxi on Christmas Day at 8.30pm, and although I was waiting for confirmation a little longer which was 15 minutes, I was still happy to even get a taxi on Christmas Day. Uber is the standard but we don’t have that so this works and does its job. If I need a taxi now I use the app. If I want to book a taxi in advance I phone. Life is so much easier nowadays not having to phone countless numbers to try and find a taxi. Ok, it might not be perfect when selecting location but personally I’ve found that easy to resolve simply by entering it manually then saving it for future use. Not had any problems so far, taxi has arrived in anything from 0 minutes upto 15 minutes which I find perfectly reasonable. ### 4/5 — Can be a bit buggy *2024-09-27, version 24.8.1* Works fairly well most of the time only issue I’ve had was a driver cancelling and the app getting stuck but a restart of it fixed the issue and booked a different driver instantly from then ### 4/5 — Wrong address *2023-07-05, version 23.5* I’ve just tried the new app and zoomed in on my property to set pick up. but it gave the wrong address. Bottom end of Mont Arrive by the pelican crossing is a clos. All the houses in the clos have an address that belongs to the next estates down Mont Arrive Jars. De haut. This will be a good app once ironed out ### 2/5 — Pre book doesn’t work *2026-05-15, version 24.8.1* I attempted to book a text for the following morning and it said that I cannot book a taxi more than 6 hours Edinburgh advance, I then tried to book in the morning and it said I cannot book less than 7 hours in advance. ### 2/5 — needs work ! *2023-07-20, version 23.5* About 10’ years late! So many errors ! Launch with some errors but this many I think is unacceptable. Why not buy an off the shelf solution 1000s available!
