It's vertically fixed and that's annoying. Also, traditionally, the old mastermind/guess the color games allowed multiple pegs of one color. It was more challenging that way. Then I realized it was just like the old game of Mastermind I played when I was younger, but with more options to customize for skill level. I play it all the time now. That plus a few new features like settings for the number of pegs and whether or not repeats or blanks are allowed make this a perfect adaptation. And you don't have to worry about "partner" scoring incorrectly!!! A big bonus imho. Plus it's free! If you like mastermind you should REALLY like this game. No time constraints, don't have to rush. Take all the time you want to solve in the fewest moves possible (besides blind luck). Ok, so you can't do the dishes while you wait for the other person to take their turn. And share conversation.
