No share feature. *2026-01-28* Cannot share photos to guests. It says it cabin settings but has no function. Please fix **Developer response:** Sorry to hear. Please provide more context with email support so I can help solve it. / Jacob ### 1/5 — Do not get this app!!! *2023-01-15* The majority of the videos left by our wedding guests did not have any sounds which was super disappointing!! **Developer response:** Very sorry to hear this. The worst thing to hear is that my app fails a user on such an important event. Doesn't really help, but I've found the issue and a new version is published. / Jacob ### 1/5 — Works 30% of the time *2022-12-25* Bought this app for our big wedding day. This app is really easy to setup and simple for guest to use. But I would not recommend this to any one because the first issue was the idle screen message. We were unable to customize the message we wanted to through the settings and the idle message only shows 1 word at a time for 5 sec which I feel is way to long. The issue can be resolved if we can customize the message, change the speed or have the option to show the entire message on the idle screen. Second issue, and this is the BIG ISSUE. Though recording the video had no issues, 30% of what was recorded had audio while the 70% had no audio. For these issues, I would not recommend this to anyone especially if you plan to use this for your wedding day. **Developer response:** Sorry to hear about your issues. Unfortunately I haven’t found these problems despite lots of testing on different devices. Would be good to know if you had an external mic. Will provide updates if I find the problems you describe. Sincerely, Jacob ### 2/5 — Cannot share pics from app. *2025-06-27* The app seemed to be perfect for what I needed. Unfortunately, when I tested it out, I noticed that there is no way to share after you take the picture. After reaching out to the developer, he did say the only way to share is to go out of the app to the photos section and find the photos there. It’s very inconvenient bc the person using it must go out of the app, then reload everything for the next person to be able to use. **Developer response:** The app was designed to make contributions to a wedding couple, birthday person or other receiver who can choose to share photos/videos after the event. That said, sharing is a great idea and will be considered for future updates! ### 3/5 — Guestbook Go does not work with Canon *2025-03-30* Canon and Nikon work with all other Photo-booth programs. Any iPad with usb c front camera would already be just as good as most usb webcams out there. Adding Canon or Nikon SLR/mirror-less would make this program 5 stars. **Developer response:** Sad to hear you have issues. My Canon R8 works just fine. Due to the nature of ports not always recognizing input source types, I've added an alert so that users make sure to check audio with test recordings. ### 4/5 — Thank you *2024-01-09* Thank you for the great App. Is there a way to extend videos beyond 60 seconds? Or to remove the time limit altogether? **Developer response:** Sure, video limit can be set up to 3 minutes. In settings there is a control panel (tab on iPhone). The timeout is standard so that the app works well on its own and always returns to the idle screen. Could be an option in the future. ### 4/5 — Good App *2023-12-28* Can’t ask for more from a free app. No issues works as it says it does. The only request I have from future updates is to be able to keep the border/overlay when the videos saves to the gallery **Developer response:** Thanks, that’s a good idea! ### 4/5 — Good app, could be great *2022-08-09* This app is a nice option and though a bit lacking in features, what it does, it does well. The customization options are very limited, however the recent update to upload your own background is a great step in the right direction. It would also be very helpful to give the option to adjust the cut off time for recording, as a minute is often a bit short, and some older guests have trouble responding to the screen prompt in time. Additional font and color options seem like a simple and obvious win as well. Overall, a useful app and I hope the developer keeps improving this one! **Developer response:** Thanks for your feedback! Changing the timeout will be added for the next release. More customization planned for eventual UI overhaul. ## Most praised reviews (9 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Love the App! *2026-08-17* This app was an incredible app. I was looking for something to replace a Photo Booth at my daughter’s welcome party/wedding. Well guess what this worked perfectly! I used my iPad and a tall stand and loaded the app up. At her welcome party when guest arrived I set up the photo part at the wedding I had both photo and video. We got so many photos and video content! The memories are what we captured and it was priceless! We’re going to use it again at our family reunion in Aug🥰. If you’re on the fence get off you wont be disappointed. **Developer response:** Glad to hear! Die Funktionen und die Individualisierung sind super, die Gäst:innen können Nachrichten hinterlassen mit dem Pencil und Fotos oder Videos aufnehmen und es ist alles intuitiv und in guter Qualität, wenn die iPad Kamera gut ist. Alles wird in der Foto Mediathek in einem Album gesichert. Und das Beste: es ist komplett kostenlos, was ich immer noch nicht ganz verstehen kann. The features are simple to use and cover everything I need. I’m hoping an external mic works so if you have any tried and tested brand suggestions let me know what to buy! I think my parents will love this memento from their 50th anniversary party. **Developer response:** I have tried it with a Shure MV88 mic with lightning connector, lightning headphones and 3.5 mm mics. Should work fine with most but testing is key. Good luck!
