Once I got their verbal confirmation I spoke to the house owner and to my surprise he said you guys have not confirmed it to him. After repeated calls to your team, they assured me that they will confirm it to the owner. I waited for a day and decided to cancel my booking on 12th December 2018. Now I am supposed to receive a refund and I have again been assured by your team that I will receive it within 7-10 days so I wait. I called you guys again on 5th January and I was again assured that due to heavy demand process it is taking a longer time but it will be processed within a week. So I wait again until yesterday, 21 January 2019, I call you guys again to enquire about my refund query and I was told that I will receive a call back from your team with an update. I still haven’t received a call or my refund and it has been more than a month. Btw you may have done a good job at hiring people with the greatest accent and english but what is the point of that if your operational bit is so messed up. When these guys were asking for payment on next day after booking with Re 1, on call they said let me confirm with the host and after few moments in call customer care said confirmed by host. What the hell it is meant??! Have they confirmed with some ghost!! I waited for 22 mins to contact customer care but no one received!! Total fraud. I don’t have hope for my refund. Go for other reputed travel agencies. This is the worst worst service provider ever. I booked a villa through their website in Mahabaleshwar. After reaching the destination, we came to know that the villa which was booked is not available as someone else has booked and staying there. After 2 hours of numerous calls and follow up they suggested that we take refund. When we obviously rejected the same, then they asked us to see an alternate property, which was not at all liveable. Then again after numerous calls we were told to accept refund, which was not an option at that point of time. It was New Years and we had travelled a long distance to get there. So after coming back we contacted them for refund and I was assured that it will be initiated and refund would be processed within 4-5 working days as mentioned in your SLA on your website. When it was not done, I followed up again and I was told that since they didn’t have my account number the refund was not processed (This happened on your support chat). On providing the same, it has not been processed yet. It has been more than 15 working days but not yet received my refund. Now I am fed up of waiting. Instead of enjoying ourselves on New Year’s Eve we were disturbed and tensed. And as if that was not enough, the refund which was assured has not been processed even after numerous follow ups. I have invested not only my money but also my time in all this. Its 10pm of that night now we have nowhere to go,so in emergency condition we need to pay high prices in other hotels and refund is not provided yet Yesterday i lodged a complaint against them i had all mails and stuff with me ! ### 1/5 — Horrible and frustrating experience - Stay Away!! *2019-06-01* I made a reservation online through their partner site and payment had been made at GuestHouser. On reaching the hotel for checkin, I was denied rooms mentioning that they have not received any booking confirmation details from GuestHouser. I had to stay on road with my 2 yr infant looking for rooms. Tried contacting them, but no response, no proper details. I will never recommend this for any booking. People please stay away from this booking service. ### 1/5 — Ban this app from App Store. *2019-05-31, version 4.0.3* As I am writing this message I am travelling with 2 family and 4 kids already on the way to the destination where I have booked the property. I received a message from anonymous number that my booking is cancelled on what’s app. Tried to call back that number without any response. Got another message couple of hours ago saying that representative tried to reach us but there are none in call logs. Tried to contact the customer care of booking.com they responded that the property is available and there is completely no issue. Now I am not sure who sent that message. I have written to Booking.com for removal to this operator from there reputed website. I am getting back and filing a consumer case. I am filing a charge back with my credit card company. If it was me I would have managed these guys made my whole family and small kids suffer. ### 1/5 — Big time frauds *2019-05-01, version 4.0.3* Please dont download the app, they cancel the booking at the end moments when you are already reached at the destination then they will cancel, and when it comes to refund they will just keep telling you the payment is processed there is some problem at gateway. So please save your money and book from some other provider ### 1/5 — Unprofessional..not recommended *2019-03-19, version 4.0.3* I made the booking. Host accepted. GuestHouser followed up with me for payment. I made the payment. I received the booking confirmation. Everything was smooth until. 1 day before arrival I received a call from guest houser that host cannot accept the booking as he felt that he made a very cheap deal. They increased the price by 10 fold. I genuinely recommend not to book through guest houser. ### 1/5 — Most Pathetic *2019-02-28, version 4.0.2* These guys are thugs, goons without any professionalism. They are here only to exert money. They will ask you to make payment in advance and the same will never be refunded in case of cancellation, for the genuine reason and within cancellation time frame. In the name of service industry they are running a racket to exert the hard earned money. Never ever book room. They don’t even deserve one star. ### 1/5 — Fraud *2019-02-25, version 4.0.2* I made a booking through booking.com for 03/01/2019-06/01/2019 and it was cancelled by the host and didn’t even informed me. One day prior when I called them, they said sorry that booking has been cancelled and they have a different accommodation at different price but I wasn’t willing to pay a single penny above the amount I already paid them. Then I called Booking.com regarding this so they asked me to find a new accommodation and if there is any price difference then it would be paid by Booking.com for which I just need to aend them the invoice of my new booking. I sent the invoice to Booking.com and they sent me the amount of the price difference between this and my new booked accommodation. But the original amount of ₹4,825/- which was supposed to be refunded by guesthouser has not been paid yet and it has been over more than 50 days today. Each and everyday they tell me a new story on call. They first told me that the refund has been initiated then they told me that Booking.com has already paid me. I explained them that booking.com has paid me the price difference between this and my new booking. Then they told me that they will talk to Booking.com regarding this and solve my query. They talked to Booking.com and said me that it was a misunderstanding between guesthouser and Booking.com and the refund has been initiated by guesthouser which I will get by end of January then they promised me for 10 February, 2019 then 15 February, 2019 then 19 February, 2019 then 25 February, 2019 and today they are telling me that it has already been paid by booking.com and I need to contact to my bank.
