The company provides the routes and trip information through the app, with no paper maps to use if the app failed or smartphone had issues. The routes were generally good, but the turn warnings were not frequent, and there was no warning that you were off-course. We found that the app was extremely easy to use and we made use of it every day during our hike. We always had a signal and we thought that the route tracking was very accurate. All the other information that is provided on the app is very useful and made our trip much easier to manage. I would recommend this app for anyone doing this style of travel. The only thing we wished that the app had included was more accurate mileage tracking so that you can know how far point on the map. Application Inutilisable donc avec un smartphone un peu ancien qui ne peut pas faire tourner les dernières versions d'ios, ou bien si l'on fait le choix de conserver un ancien système. Many, many things wrong with this app but the outstanding item was it freezing several times a day, usually at start and end of walk. Only way I found to recover from this was to shut down the phone (a new IPhone 14 pro) and restart, that is via the SOS screen. When stationary, app doesn’t indicate direction phone is pointing in! Irritating klaxon sound when you go off route, but only if your phone screen is on! Overlaid symbols obscuring place names! You have to be on the route for about a KM for the app to start working. Doesn’t tell you when you are off the route. Nor does it reroute when lost. We were so lost and couldn’t use this app one day of our bike adventure. Worked only a few days.
