I especially use the guides for when to catch different species, villagers’ coffee orders, and knowing which art pieces I already have in the museum. I would gladly pay money for this app, it’s that great! It also helps you keep track of the town you have the date, and the current things you can catch at that exact time in your town. If your a time traveler you can change it. It’s simple and helpful. My only complaint is that I play ACNL in French, and my phone is in French as well; when I try to use the search feature to find items with accents in them like é and à, they don't show up unless I omit the accent, and sometimes I can't find them at all if there are too many accents in a word. Also, alphabetical lists are wonky since words with accents in them show up in different places than they should. You can tell that it's really annoying to track and find items in the app this way. Great app, and I don't know if this issue is possible to fix, but thought I'd add my 2 cents ### 4/5 — Great App *2023-05-20* I still like to play ACNL on my DS. This app is very handy & helpful!! I did notice some items missing from the household inventory section. Like pancakes and various other items. Still highly recommend using this to track items. But missing items *2020-04-10, version 4.3.4* I recently restarted my town in ACNL and joined a fb group where this app was recommended, so I downloaded it. It’s going to be super helpful when trying to complete my encyclopedia and catalog, however when going through and checking off the items I have already, I noticed more than a handful of items I have are not in the app, such as some of the fortune cookie prizes, the white wood flooring, and some of the Harvey’s campsite/RV furniture. Not to mention how it’s useful for just about everything else in the game. However one problem I have is I wish there was a way to connect the app to our New Leaf towns. That way the app would be able to know what you’ve collected and check off all that stuff for you so you don’t have to check everything off one by one all by yourself. But regardless the app is still a fun and helpful. And I feel like it’ll be something easy to implement maybe? Depends on what programming language you’re using really but most languages would be simple). Please please please add support for multiple towns! A lot of people have two+ games to do different themes for their towns, and it’d be great when checking things off as ‘obtained’ if there could be an option to have to choose which town you have it for. It’d be as simple as letting a user ‘create a town’ and each town they have created can have a labeled check box where we say if we have it in each town. I could even help you design the feature if you want! Would recommend this app because of these people alone. (also great for game use) Using this on iPhone 7. Every few minutes into using this app it fully takes you to the App Store without any warning for a different promoted app. Basically unusable. Even clicking back onto the app it will shoot you back to the App Store multiple times before letting you use it for 2 minutes and then sends you BACK to the App Store for some other promoted app. **Developer response:** My apologies for this. This was not a deliberate action, the ads are supposed to remain at the bottom and only send you to the App Store when you tap on it. The only thing I'd change is making an entry for bugs/fish etc that allows you to check off what you have in the museum AND what you've personally caught. I had to choose between personal and museum for which to keep track of. It is a great app. I gave the extra $.99 for the non ad version. I figured since you went to the trouble of making this, that was the least I could do. It has helped my game in more ways than I can count. The only struggle I have is with the Island. I can’t mark off anywhere the tours I’ve been on, or the medals to keep track. I just bought a wetsuit, but it isn’t listed in clothing or tools. It’s also tricky because when I fish in my town, I can’t catch things I can on the island because I guess of different temperatures. I wish there was a “right now on the island” section to show what I could catch now on the island. Other than that, this is worth every penny and then some.
