So after 35 + years why would I want an app like this? I can’t always be with my guitar and as any seasoned guitarist knows, inspiration strikes at odd times. The creative possibilities with this are endless! I can run so many ideas through it and make as many tweets as I want. Also, even after all these years I am still nowhere near being a chord encyclopedia so it helps to see how to properly finger some of these chords. Brilliant app! Definitely has a place on my iPad. If you’re a beginner then I cannot recommend this app highly enough. Even if you’ve been playing awhile you’ll still find it useful. Doesn’t work on my iPhone and cannot seem to contact anyone for refund. ### 1/5 — Scam, do not buy! *2015-12-31, version 1.1.1* 1. Ask to upgrade to "expert mode". For your $4.99 gives bad guitar sound, no any true distortion sound. Just "bzzz" mix with "clean" and no any available view of 3d guitar player. Just through transparent time line or so. I am pro guitar player and sure this app is scam. Yes probably somebody will want to buy additional "PRO" version of another $4,99. But I'm sure it will be one more half working app. Worst money anyway. I wanted an app that could help continue to grow in my playing and technique after no longer being able to pay for one-on-one lessons at Guitar Center. We all know that one-on-one lessons can be extremely pricey and I've also learned (from experience) that some of YouTube's instructors do not always teach correctly. Each guitar app I've tried had it's pros and cons but one thing 3D offers that the others don't is to be able to see the guitar player from different angles so that you can see how your wrist should be, where the fingers should be placed and how they should touch the strings depending on what technique (hammer on, bends, etc.) or chords you're using. You can even create and record your own tracks and the 3D AR app is pretty awesome. I would definitely recommend this app to someone else. Of course there is nothing like one-on-one lessons but, this app worked best for me. I also write my own songs and often times I may come up with a melody and then come back a few days later and forget what chords/notes I used --this app is great for that as well. Hats off to the developers who created this and I look forward to more updates and advancement on these apps as time goes on.
