## What is Guitar Book?

Learn guitar on your real instrument using your device's microphone! 

Guitar Book is the ultimative new method for learning guitar! Learn songs with real music notation. The order of the pieces is especially arranged for beginners, so you will progress from one tune to another without any trouble. You will be coached by the automatic training program. Play the songs on your real instrument, Guitar Book will analyze how you play and show you the result. You can see your performance of each line in the piece and how many notes you missed. 

Automatic Coach leads you to success with only a few exercises. First you try the notes without rhythm detection, afterwards you practice with metronome and finally you play the song with a complete playback. Training mode waits for you, concert mode runs with playback and plays the song continuously. Tap on a position in the song sheet and Guitar Book will start from that bar. Press long on a bar to repeat a whole line. Activate fretboard screen in the navigation bar if you don't know a note in the piece. Of course there are also video tutorials included which help you to learn new techniques. 

For anyone who wants to play guitar under the christmas tree there is bundle of famous christmas carols in the starter package (In-App-Purchase)!

You don't want to practice with electronic devices everyday? No problem: You can print all pieces in Guitar Book with only one button pressed!

An sich finde ich die app total super. Das Konzept ist auch sehr gut. Jedoch erkennt die App meine Gitarre nicht weshalb ich nicht weiter üben kann. Sonst wären es volle 5 Sterne

Ich bin eine sehr gute Gitarren Spielerin und habe diese App für meine Freundin ausprobiert und ich finde es einfach nur dämlich dass man fast 8 € bezahlen muss, nur damit man weiter spielen kann.

If you have downloaded this app not knowing where to begin and clueless of everything ( like me) then you will not enjoy trying to learn stuff that you have no clue about so I would stay away for all the beginners and let professionals take over on this time

I love this app so much! It has helped me relearn how to read music while learning how to play guitar. I played flute many many years ago and have been trying to learn guitar for more than a decade. This app has bee so helpful and has made learning fun and easy! Thank you!

An sich eine tolle Idee. Die App sagt, was man spielen soll, hört zu und weiter gehts. Und scheitert kläglich gleich beim ersten Lied im ersten Akkord G. Falsch! Netter Versuch! usw.
Nicht wirklich! Wenn die Töne nicht richtig erkannt werden können, tut es mir leid. Dann fliegt die App raus. Egal, wie toll die Idee ist.

Nachdem ich nun schon einige Zeit Gitarre als Begleitung spiele, wollte ich meine Fähigkeiten um das Spielen nach Noten ergänzen.
Da passt diese App für mich absolut perfekt! Was man hier mitbringen muss ist das Wissen um die Notenbezeichnungen. Ansonsten erhält man aber auch Hilfe, wo die jeweilige Noten auf der Gitarre zu spielen ist.
Der Schwierigkeitsgrad steigt sehr moderat an. Anfangs fragt man sich, warum einige Stücke so aufgebaut sind, aber nach einiger Zeit versteht man das Prinzip dahinter.
Besonders gut finde ich, dass man Lieder auch durch Spielen freischalten kann und nicht nur durch Echtgeld.
Die Erkennung der gespielten Noten klappt bei mir zu 95% - das ist i.O.
Die Gestaltung geht auch i.O.
Ich kann nur sagen: Bitte weiter so und mehr davon!
Eine Bitte noch: Eine sinnvolle Anzeige der Notennamen - vielleicht optional, oder bei wiederholten Fehlern.

An sich nette Idee, aber extrem nervig neue Lieder freizuschalten, da man immer 2x den Rhythmus ohne playback hinbekommen muss, und bei tiefen Tönen man angeblich schon falsch gespielt hat, weil die halt einen intensiveren Nachklang haben. Bei tiefen Liedern scheitert man also. Und bekommt so keine weiteren neuen Songs. Dadurch wird man frustriert und wütend. Ansonsten 4*
