### 4/5 — Useful and intuitive app

*2023-12-20*

I wish there were more chord types listed, and perhaps that the chord names conformed to the naming conventions that I know. However, the user interface is great, and I like being able to play the chords from my phone. Very good job!!

### 4/5 — Great tool for beginner Guitar and Ukulele player

*2020-04-27*

Would give it 5 stars if you can fix the alternate ADGCEA tuning you call “baritone” in your App which is not linear so it can be effectively be used for the guitalele. The C jumps one octave higher while the other notes are a properly ascending. Or maybe add an alternate tuning for the gutarlele/ guilele which are becoming more and more popular now. I upgraded to “all access” on both the guitar and ukulele apps.

These are really amazing apps and potentially the only one needs for the guitar or ukulele with the built in tuners, chord and scale charts, a decent metronome with rhythm patterns.

### 3/5 — Crashes

*2020-04-19*

App just exits when in favorites and edit mode

### 4/5 — Infinaut’s fix please!

*2020-03-24*

So far I’ve found the d7 and bm are missing a note at the top of the neck and when I display all cord notes in settings there is a floating ghost note or two to the left of the headstock.

This app is really awesome for learning guitar, really brilliant but needs a small update.

### 3/5 — Better than others but is missing something BIGGGG

*2015-06-08*

First off let me say that although I only give it 3 stars it's better than the others because when I rotate the screen the fretboard stays put and the chart moves....being left handed and having the low e on top makes this better than all the others because I haven't seen one that does that...

What it's missing is a circle of fifths wheel...I mean Jesus....can't anyone get it right?you put a relations wheel on here and you get 5 stars...it's a couple of other tweaks it could use like staying in the same vicinity when I change notes....I juuuust want to shift....I don't want to hit the stupid arrow to get back to the same chord shape....Jeeeesus Christ!!!....it's irritating!!!!..one app does this but it's missing that....the other app does that but it's missing this....I would think a circle of fifths be standard but what do I know.

And reverse chord lookup might help too duuhrrr.

### 4/5 — Outstanding App

*2015-01-07*

A lot of great features. I especially love the ability to save custom chord groups. I just wish it had the ability to let me choose the notes on the fretboard and have the app display the chord. I'm learning from a jazz guitar book and some of the weirder chords aren't in the default groups. (D13b5b9 for example)

### 4/5 — Decent

*2014-04-09, version 4.0*

It's okay for a tuner. Normally works, as long as the surroundings are quiet.

### 4/5 — Useful easy app

*2013-10-20, version 4.0*

Very useful app to help discover chords and look for different chords to add more voice tommy songs.

### 3/5 — Guitar companion

*2013-07-03, version 3.2.0*

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Crap

*2013-12-14, version 4.0*

Absolutely the worst app I ever got and the worst part is..... I bought it! Avoid it, I emailed for support and got no reply hence the negative report.

### 1/5 — Ripped off

*2013-10-19, version 4.0*

This latest version does not recognise the fact that I purchased the full version, feeling well ripped off :-(

### 1/5 — Soso

*2012-10-28, version 3.1.2*

Position of guitar is backwards for a right handed person.

### 1/5 — Stuck on intro page

*2012-09-23, version 3.1*

Tuning up, then a quick flash of the app to whet my appetite, then the Infinaut logo, a strummed chord... and that's all it does. Looks like a good, useful app, but there's no point for anyone to download it until it's fixed in the next update. I'll review it again then and give more stars. iPhone 4S running IOS6

### 1/5 — Rks

*2011-12-17, version 2.0.1*

Didn't recognise chords. Wired finger configuration

### 1/5 — AVOID

*2011-11-13, version 2.0.1*

Unless you want a constant stream of UNSOLICITED advertisements bombarding your iPad. A pity because it looked promising.

### 1/5 — Guitar

*2011-09-03, version 1.3*

Very disappointing ones get stuck on tuning can't changed other wise is very handy.

### 1/5 — Mr

*2011-08-22, version 1.2*

Simple, basic and uninspired. There are lots of better apps out there. At least it's free.

### 2/5 — Don't buy Tunings

*2015-10-21, version 4.0.2*

Half step down Tuning calls what would be Bb7 as A7. Moreover, some of the notes sound displaced up an octave.

### 2/5 — Fretboard upside down!

*2013-01-27, version 3.2.0*

This would be a very good app but while viewing it in landscape mode the fretboard is backwards. I know that it's kind of subjective but every book, website and app displays the fretboard the opposite way. Please make it an option to flip it around!
