This is the best app out there for finding scales and chords in alternative tunings. You can custom set any tuning and then drag the chords up the fret to find anything. Highly recommend to anyone trying to unlock more of the fretboard

Looks great and is intuitive to use.
Allows the user to add their own tunings.
The creator has made this app completely free and with no advertisements, which is absolutely awesome!

My only quibble is that it only has a small selection of scales. I’d like to practice in Phrygian and Locrian among others, but those options aren’t available.

This app is perfect for a beginner player like me. It made learning the notes on the fretboard so easy. I dig the “Hold to change key” feature. Thank you for your hard work. It would probably be nice to have more scales for more advanced players or to have an option to create our own.

This app is INCREDIBLY well put together. The notes that make up a chord are color coded. That alone is amazing. You can tell which one is your root, minor third, and perfect fifth. Knowing this is extremely important especially if you plan to play leads. The scale variety is limited, but for an app that’s free, it’s amazing. The chords are expansive enough to present you with Sus chords, but limited if you want to delve into slash chords or sixths and all that jazz. It’s definitely a feature I’d be willing to pay for if there was a pro version created. Overall I’d say this is a solid app, especially if you’re an intermediary level player, however, even a seasoned guitarist can utilize this app to create slash chords even if the bass note isn’t present.
