On my ipad 3, this launches with a view extremely zoomed-in to one portion of the menu screen.  Any game mode you manage to launch from there is also rendered unusable by this buggy zoom.  I also tried killing it and restarting in various orientations - no improvement.

A bit buggy and crashes often but definitely gets the job done. You need a bit of self control to force yourself to use a string you don't know the notes for (most players know the notes on the 6th string). I'm a relative beginner but even the hard mode is too easy. I have however learnt more notes on the fretboard from playing this for a few days than in a year of playing.

This game really helps you learn the fretboard. Only drawback is it freezes up and boots you out sometimes. But just restart the game, it's not like I'm trying to get high score anyway. It's worth a couple bucks!

Been trying to learn the guitar fret board for years and wish I’d seen this game earlier as it makes a chore fun. I found I stayed in my comfort zone at first but the game cleverly rewards you for stepping out. 

Bugs seem to have been ironed out, maybe just people running on old iPhone/iPads as it works fine for me.

Great way to learn the fretboard! I was just mindlessly messing around with it, and learned in 30 minutes more than I learned in fifteen years of undisciplined practice and play. Genius almost to the point of suspected witchcraft.
Totally worth 1.99!

This program WILL help you memorize all those individual notes in all major bass and guitars. A most get for any beginner that needs help to remember all those locations to sounds. So be sure to get this APP!!!

I enjoyed playing this. It's easy to get started, but it provides the right ramp up in difficulty to be challenging without being frustrating. No need to know the guitar fretboard beforehand, although I certainly know it a bit better now!
