It actually has a plotline that’s cleverly advanced through fictional text conversations, and supporting characters aren’t just ways to get bugger numbers, but each one has a charming, sometimes quirky personality that’s slowly revealed through their interactions with the main character (my favorite one is the cat butler who texts on behalf of his cat). Plus, the storyline is so inoffensive and cute, it’s like playing a super cozy, feel-good anime about the power of friendship and following your dreams and all that nice stuff. I just wish there were more content updates; it looks like it’s been a year or so since the last content update, and I’d love to see more stories about Guitar Girl and her friends and fans. I like the messaging and the upgrading characters, and I love designing the room and picking her outfits and guitar. I love everything about this game! The only thing is that there’s some really erotic and gross ads that pop up. Since it’s a game that kids can play, I don’t think this is good. There is also gaslighting and it isn’t the best for a game that’s made to help you relax. As a person with anxiety I enjoy the game and music, but the talking with Neighbor and then Joy after she finds out about Moa. It triggered a anxiety attack. There is a difference between rude and abusive. Rude is if you insult someone because you can, abuse is what she does. She straight up gaslites a character has anxiety and attempts to make herself the victim. Please understand this. I have nothing in the ingame mailbox and only have the first chat with Joy, but nothing else. The new friendship level feature saved and so did my actual gameplay data but all of the message data is gone. Music is actually quite good, so this would be a clicker game leaning towards the more relaxed side of things. Didn’t get very far story wise. Conversations felt stereotype and slightly robotic. As if they tried to give the characters feelings but slipped up somewhere in the coding. I don’t know if it’s just me, but something about the way Guitar girl types bothers me quite a bit. I’m not sure if these stuff are happening over text or if they’re happening over person. I wish there was a way to at least hear what she’s saying. Also, the fact that guitar girls puts a lot of periods bothers me a bit. The other characters are great! It’s just guitar girl that bothers me. I honestly wish I had options on what to say other than just press a button and type, watch them type, and then press it again. To me, it’s a little boring. Now, this is something I wish could be added. It’s being able to customize guitar girl.
