### 1/5 — Oops!

*2022-03-26*

I felt really silly for buying this. It offers almost nothing but the most basic scales.

**Developer response:** This is strange. There are 100s of scales. Each one at about 10 different positions and at all keys. 1000s of combinations. From the most basic Pentatonic scale to the more unknown Ukranian Dorian scale. Don't understand your comment. Please get in touch with the developers at LearnToMasterLtd@gmail.com so we can resolve.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2016-11-11*

Do not pay for this app. It is exactly the same as the free version. I bought it because it said you could choose the fret position for any scale, whereas position is locked in the free version. This is not the case.

If you can get past the clunky, amateurish interface, I expect it is possible to use it to learn guitar scales, but it's not worth paying for.

**Developer response:** Sorry you feel this way. The design is taken from all best practices like Nielsen principles and Material Design, so you can intuitively use the app to learn scales. Email the developers at LearnToMasterLtd@gmail.com to discuss.

### 1/5 — Doesn't do what it says

*2016-05-15*

Doesn't install properly. Shows scale positions and that's it. Waste of a good idea.

**Developer response:** Sorry you have misunderstood. Please watch the tutorial video so you know how to get the most out of the app.

### 1/5 — arnacque

*2014-01-07*

une vraie arnacque, c'est null!!!!!

### 1/5 — Hated it

*2013-07-03, version 4.0*

Confusing to use

### 1/5 — Not a good app

*2013-02-11*

There are many other apps out there that are good for fretboard work. This isn't one of them. Do some research, and keep looking.

### 1/5 — Totally Useless

*2013-02-10*

This program does nothing more than show where the notes are on the scales. It defaults to another scale every time you leave that particular page. If you can jam to these scales, as it states, your name is Eric Clapton. A total waste of the price. Had to give it one star reluctantly. I will be deleting this app as a waste of space on my iPad.

### 1/5 — Really Bad!

*2012-11-15*

Sound is terrible. Needs descending notes.. Needs more positions on fretboard and needs extended scales. Jam option has no music behind it so it's of no value at all.

### 1/5 — Needs work

*2012-11-14*

Bad sound , doesn't play the scale descending , only shows one position, the jam part is a joke it's just you playing with the bad sound there are no other instruments to play along with

### 2/5 — Não está saindo o som das cordas

*2018-08-13*

A ideia é boa mas não está saindo o som das cordas ao tocar.

**Developer response:** Outro usuário teve esse problema. Foi resolvido deslizando até o Painel de Controle e ativando o dispositivo.

## Most praised reviews (6 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — One of its kind app

*2014-01-13*

The app is not perfect, there is no left handed fretboard layout for lefty players, and it also crashes sometimes on me under ios 7, BUT for learning scales, it's an excellent tool and it's a one of its kind approach that I haven't found anywhere else. Keep the updates coming!

**Developer response:** Thanks. We have added a left handed option now.

### 5/5 — Great

*2012-10-26*

Wicked app. Great for people trying to learn the foundations of shredding

### 4/5 — Show standard chord progressions

*2013-08-29*

All good but more chord teaching

### 4/5 — Pretty good little app

*2013-05-01*

decent app for someone who is wanting to learn scales. It gets the point across. Im actually learning the scales pretty quick!

**Developer response:** Fantastic that you are learning the scales quickly.

### 4/5 — Scale change

*2012-12-10*

Be nice to be able to change scale by simply touching the upper left scale list rather than going to options.
Loose the need to tap 'done' when changing key etc.. A double tap should suffice.

### 3/5 — good app

*2012-11-25*

good app. would be good if several scales could be selected at once
