You simply touch the screen once and an ad pops up. You tap again, same thing. You literally can’t do anything. Also, you can’t even see all the chords because they happen to be where the camera is. You mainly only get an ad after changing a chord. You can click the X to get out of most of the ads within a few seconds of them starting, and you only get one ad, before you can go back to playing. You get one ad when you open the app that you can exit by the time a few seconds of it playing goes by. There are not many ads in the app now.
