You can’t add and slides, pull offs, Hamer ons, slides vibrato etc. The app is easy to use but without those thing it is harder for more advanced people to write complex progressions. And maybe make to easy to print. (Add a button or something.) so PLEASE MAKE THOSE CHANGES FOR ADVANCED PLAYERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Would also consider adding a video tutorial so everyone can learn how use it properly. Easy to use. ### 5/5 — Great App and Support *2024-12-16* This is a quality app that does the job well and has great functionality. It is easy to input the notes on the fretboard. Click a note again and it disappears. You can grab a chord or measure and move it around to the right beat, make bar lines, transpose sections that you input incorrectly, name chords, change the string names and more. You can playback your score to check it. Kyle is friendly and responsive. He is working on some tweaks that will make this app unbeatable. ### 4/5 — Other Notations? *2024-12-05, version 4.6* I might be missing something but I can't seem to figure out how to write in pull offs, hammer ons vibratos, etc. Simply typing for example "p" for a pull off should not be its own bar, it should be combined (ex: |15p14| not | 15 | p | 14 |). Organizing stuff is annoying. Unclear how to save things. Not worth the 5 dollars ### 1/5 — The app deleted everything *2023-10-10* Just as title says. I had the app on two devices for backup reasons. It deleted everything on BOTH devices! I had things from 2021 that I was saving to repurpose for newer songs. Almost three years of work GONE on both apps. Luckily, since it deleted everything on my iPad first, and I had a hunch it would just do that one day before hand, I had everything saved into a file on my phone in case same thing happens on that one too. And it did. I have no idea why this is happening now, and idk if it’s because of an update or just a glitch, but yeah. The app decided to delete three years of work randomly two times. Literally everything was on my phone on the actual app earlier today. **Developer response:** Please email me kyle@kylegorlick.com so we can recover the tabs ### 1/5 — Tabs were deleted *2023-05-31, version 3.3.1* I spent over an hour writing tabs for short parts of many songs and the next day all my tabs are gone and deleted, dont use this awful app ### 1/5 — Encountered bug that ruined the entire app… *2023-05-31, version 3.3.1* Currently the app has this bug that sends me into an infinite loading screen when trying to access tabs I have written. Makes the app useless unless you want to save a tab and never access it again. Even the clicking the “backup all tabs” button sends me into an infinite loading screen. Be called bug master *2022-04-27, version 2.3.3* I was trying out the free version, it’s absolutely horrible made one tab but the second one would never save and the app would lock up. And when i hit New Tab button it goes directly to some video game thing on App Store…. It happened more than once. Very simple structure does not overcomplicate the process for people like me who are not looking for an app to write music in. I was just looking for an app that would allow enough information so I could play my favorite songs anytime by just looking at my simple tabs that I wrote.
