### 5/5 — Great App!!!

I enjoy practising using the app at my convenient time. It has chords of most songs hindi and English That makes it even more fun I’ve had a great experience using this app Highly recommend to you all :)

### 5/5 — Exceptional

*2018-12-29, version 2.4*

Really helps learn the fretboard if you keep playing.

### 4/5 — Great for what it is

*2018-12-14, version 2.4*

One of my favorite guitar apps and very useful as I work to memorize the fretboard. Wish they would mix in flats rather than just sharp notes.

### 5/5 — Great Job

*2018-09-26, version 2.4*

I’m in a guitar theory class and it helps to know the fret board, and if you don’t know it this will give you a fun way to learn it!! I highly recommend this game for anyone trying to learn it!!!

### 5/5 — One of the best ways to learn the fretboard

*2018-09-11, version 2.4*

Now I can get better at guitar while not actually playing.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Don’t buy if you have an iPhone X

*2017-12-27, version 2.4*

The app seems to be ok, however the iPhone X doesn’t like it. It doesn’t exit when you swipe up - which in my opinion makes apps annoying and painful. Please jump on board and update.

### 2/5 — Error on first few screens?

*2019-06-06, version 3.1*

Pretty sure I found a mistake on the first activity screen. They list the natural notes, then mention sharps and flats. The third point says “that gives us 12 notes” but then only lists 11, omitting F#.

I probably should give one star, but...

### 3/5 — Lacking in content/ personal settings

*2020-05-15, version 3.2.2*

I play guitar left handed normally, but this app’s guitar is backwards from what I’m normally used to. Please add in a setting where I can change it from a right handed POV to a left handed. This app throws me off because of that fact I’m not used to a right POV

### 3/5 — Has Potential

*2019-07-02, version 3.1.1*

It has a nice interface overall, but has some bugs that keep it from being that useful. For example, in training mode, it’s supposed to test me on notes across the whole string, but instead it keeps giving me the same 4 notes. (Literally, after 30 questions, all of them were the same 4.) And sometimes it gives the same question multiple times in a row, which is even more useless.

Would be nice if there were a way in the app to report bugs like that.

Like I said, it has a lot of potential and if they can fix the bugs it would be great.

### 3/5 — Effective but flawed

*2019-01-09, version 2.4*

This has been a useful approach to learn the fretboard, but the two standard, and only, learning modes become dull after a while. What I would find much more useful is the ability to drill a single string, or a region of the fretboard, with a "free play" mode that doesn't end when you make a mistake.

### 3/5 — Needs work

*2018-11-09, version 2.4*

Needs levels so when you start over you don’t have to go through the ez first position stuff. Also all accidentals are sharps! Need to mix in flats.

### 3/5 — Needs much work but effective!

*2018-03-03, version 2.4*

I really want to give this 5 stars but it has some obvious bugs and the developer only updates like once a year. Too bad, there is some real potential here. Some notes don’t sound, D and C sometimes, check that out. Also what’s really frustrating is I’ll be up to 180 correct or so and the last tap maybe was doubled tap and the app registers that as a wrong answer for the next note, rrrr.... also the note you tap aren’t laid out far enough, it’s easy to mistakenly tap a wrong answer. It really needs a refresh for a paid app BUT it’s very effect and I like the high score feature it helps with motivation so that’s worth 3 stars, but minus 2 stars for bad interface and minor bugs and low engagement on the developer. Will 5 star this once/if improvements are made.

### 4/5 — Nice app with room for improvement

*2021-11-10, version 3.2.2*

I have used this app for 72 hrs and I have to say that I quickly learned the fretboard in a hurry, how ever, their quizzes and practice cessions can greatly improve ti make them last longer and increase its degree of difficulty according to ones progress. If this app would become the “Mavis Beacon” of guitar learning. It would be the # 1 in the market

### 4/5 — Great!

*2020-07-23, version 3.2.2*

After 1 day of playing, I was already so much better at fretboards! The lessons are good, but it’s sad there are only five of them. This game also challenges you, which makes it even better and easier to learn! The only thing I think should be better, is there should be more games and challenges. Other than that, it’s a great tool!

### 4/5 — Nice tool for learning the fretboard

*2020-06-18, version 3.2.2*

I’ve had this tool for about a year, but never really “got it” until I committed to learning the notes on the fretboard. This game became instantly more useful, as I can pick up and play it almost everywhere even when there’s no guitar around. I’ve found a few minor bugs as other reviews have noted, but nothing that takes away from the utility of the game. My only minor gripe is on the Scales section, it’s a bit difficult to figure out which scale you’re selecting, since the last word is cut off. Maybe if you made tour selection from a pull down list?

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Entertaining & Effective

*2021-10-21, version 3.2.2*

If you want to memorize the fretboard this is the way to do it.

### 5/5 — Solid

*2021-05-22, version 3.2.2*

Games made the app a useful tool once I committed to using it

### 5/5 — Fun & educational for any guitarist!

*2020-03-22, version 3.2.2*

Literally within 10 minutes of playing this game I learned & memorized about 33% of the fret boards notes!

### 5/5 — Lovely app

*2020-02-18, version 3.2.2*

You can play it in your free time everywhere. The graphics is wonderful.

### 5/5 — Awesome App! Needs a few more options!

*2019-12-28, version 3.1.2*

This app is awesome and you guys have done a great job on it. Super efficient and really cool graphics!

There are two things I wish you all could add however!

1: Show the 12th fret. I sometimes “count down” to the note but it’s difficult to visualize that when it’s not there.

1.1: This would take a bit longer but also being able to get quizzed passed the 12th fret! Although it’s the same pattern it can still trip anyone up. The “dots” are different, the frets are smaller, etc. This would be helpful for solos/scales!

2: The ability to test on ONLY natural notes. This would help with people starting out. Once you nail these you can easily sharpen or flatten notes.

Please please please add these options! Other than that, great job! Loving the app. Look forward to more updates to come.

### 5/5 — Excellent memory tool!!!

*2019-11-16, version 3.1.1*

So much more fun completing the exercises to memorize notes on the fret board, rather than staring at a chart of notes on a piece of paper! Perfect for adult and children guitar beginners. Thank you to the writers of software for this app from someone who hates memorizing. You rock big time!!!!

### 5/5 — Amazing and fun

*2019-06-29, version 3.1.1*

By far the best, and most fun, way I’ve found to finally memorize the fretboard!

### 5/5 — Pitch Perfect

*2019-06-15, version 3.1.1*

This is a brilliant little app. Very easy to switch string which means less interference from other sounds than a chromatic tuner. Very very happy with it.

### 5/5 — Love it SO much!

*2019-06-15, version 3.1.1*

All the starter guitar users will easily get to know how to tune their guitar. It also has easy chords to play and a short tutorial. Really amazing app. Love it A LOT.

### 5/5 — Best tuner!

*2019-06-14, version 3.1.1*

Not only is this tuner easy to use but it is probably the most accurate one I have found
