The tuner doesn’t work anymore, bummer because it was a great tool to have my music students download too. ### 1/5 — Tuner Works Again!- sort of *2025-11-02, version 2.6.0* I’ve had this app for years but it also hasn’t been updated since forever. A few years ago the tuner stopped working but I find that if I go to “scales” and back to tuner 2 times the tuner works again. It’s great for identifying chords using the fretboard. You can also strum the chord after you enter it. If I’m collaborating with someone I can take a screenshot of each chord and send it which is really helpful. I found tapping the “i “ that takes you to high or low contrast and then ‘done ‘did the trick. You might have to do it a couple of times. If the “i” isn’t showing I got it back by switching mic on and off in settings. But really the tuner was my daily go to feature. Then - like many of my fellow users found - it broke. I can’t remember what I paid for this app, but it certainly wasn’t free. The support when the tuner died was non existent. Very disappointed that there was zero feedback. Even if I’d gone bankrupt as a company I would have answered a loyal user base. Anyway, like I’m sure many of you have, I returned again and again hoping for an update to fix the tuner. Yesterday I returned to the app and tried clicking the “i” on the tuner page. I turned on “high-contrast mode” - the tuner started working again. If I could post screenshots I would. When I pull up the tuner, the indicator needle is not there, and then it appears and disappears randomly. This was happening on previous iOS as well, but I could fix it by switching quickly to "chord" mode, then back to tuner. Now, with 26, it is randomly intermittent, and only shows up for five seconds or so before disappearing again. I used to use this as my primary tuner, and all the other features were great to have in the same place. When I submit a bug report to Agile, I get a “page not found” message. Way beyond the basics of a tuner, and a metronome. This app has everything you can think of, alternate tunings, scales, chord scales, fingering, notes, intervals. If you like to experiment and don’t know what a chord’s called, a couple of taps and you’ll get all names depending on key. Pick a chord and see all voicing(s) up the neck.
