The app itself stands up and is still entertaining. However, it is clearly in need of some updates as many of the guns are either broken and/or glitchy and/or has elements that need updating 1. A noticeable amount of the guns are missing casing animation 2. The guns where you can manually aim at the brick wall: the aiming function is broken and needs fixing on all of the weapons. 3. Some of the guns are completely broken and need fixing: a couple of examples are the blunderbuss gun, some of the western pistols that can’t be reloaded. 4. Lastly, I definitely feel like the size of the ammo viewed in the magazines of some of the guns doesn’t match up visually, I.e. the 50 cal round in the Barrett m107 sniper looks smaller and sounds smaller than the AWP in the free set of guns. I feel like it wouldn’t take much to get these items fixed and updated. Would honestly rate it 5/5*, but as a huge chunk of the game is broken, especially w/ the fact that you can’t properly manually aim all the big & explosive weapons at the wall, I can’t currently give it more than a 2/5 ### 4/5 — Accessibility needs *2024-12-16, version 4.7.1* Please make this app more accessible for voiceover, I would like for you to just make the menu of weapons more accessible. I mean, I can turn off voiceover when I have the gun loaded, but please make the menu options accessible even the settings for the Guns, this affects my ability to enjoy the game because it always involves direct touch a feature on Apple for voiceover And direct touch is not helping me. It really brought some innovative stuff to the gun simulation genre back in the day with its ability to customize guns, shoot in slow motion, and fire at actual targets with explosive weapons. I also really loved the idea of buying themes gun packs. It’s a really simple and effective way to get people hooked. Gun Club is simply one of the best Gun Sim apps at the time, next to iGun and Gunapp. However, this app has a big problem of being unpolished all around. There are a lot of glitches you can pull off, limits on what you can and cannot do to guns which ruin the playing experience, ear bleeding sound effects, and hilariously awful 3D gun models with very poor dimensions and attention to detail. It’s also plagued with bad and inconsistent research on the guns. For instance, slide releases or bolt catches don’t work on many guns, but work for some guns. The M16A1, which is a select fire Semi Auto and Full Auto firing gun, somehow fires in burst like an M16A2. And the worst one is the AS50, a 50 caliber sniper rifle can now shoot in full auto for some reason. This is just one out of many instances, and it’s a shame Binary Mill pretty much discontinued Gun Club and stopped working on adding new features and fixing bugs. I don’t even know if the company is still alive.
