The best game keeps getting better :) This game has all the best features from all Pascal's previous games, packaged into a beautifully presented game... everything is perfectly polished. What a legend :D Thanks mate! 5 Stars planck ### 4/5 — Macht Spass, aber etwas grobpixlig *2013-02-14* Gunslugs mach Spass. Keine Frage. Actionreiches Gameplay in 8-Bit Optik. Und genau da liegt auch gleichzeitig das größte Problem: Auf einem Retina iPad sieht die Grafik einfach _zu_ pixlig und grob aus. Hier würde ich mir etwas Feinschliff wünschen. Dafür einen Stern Abzug. Ansonsten gibt es aber nichts zu meckern. Der Sound passt perfekt und wird nicht nervig. Das Gameplay ist schnell und treibend. Was mich noch sehr positiv aufgefallen ist: Man kann die Position der Steuerung frei aussuchen. Das ist ungemein praktisch. ### 5/5 — AMAZING! *2013-02-02* This game is extremely fun. Add saving, or at least you restart on the same level you does on, and you get 5 stars. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Bad update *2023-01-11* Don't install 3.3.0 - the game will randomly pause & quit to the main menu, making it effectively unplayable. (Leaderboards and achievements are still broken, too, but they don't really matter.) Don't expect a fix, either. I really like the premise of this game, but my thumbs are constantly getting away from the buttons and I find that I'm not moving. At least add some slack in how the controls work to make them a little more forgiving. The League of Evil games have really good platformer movement controls. Something like that would make this game much better. If you haven't gotten into their offerings in the AppStore, you should REALLY consider checking them out. Anyway, another great iOS game getting updated so it can be taken into the future. It's great knowing that the developers have been around for a while, and plan on staying here for a while as well. Gunslugs is more of a run'n'gun with mini-games (optional mini-games, which are still run'n'gun based) throughout the game, that usually involve some quick thinking. It's a completely separate beast when compared to Gunslugs 2, so even if you have the 2nd one, the first one is still well worth checking out. Personally, I prefer this one to the sequel. But that's just preferance. They're both fantastic games that I wholeheartedly recommend. ### 5/5 — Gunslugs *2015-02-03* This game is so exciting!
