I got a notification for a Chinese booster box and decided to purchase (dotscardshop) and they have yet to send me anything almost two weeks later after emailing and writing on instagram. Great idea but poor execution. Trading Cards have been hard to acquire. The restock and drop Que are working in progress!! But they are making waves!! ### 5/5 — The absolute best *2026-04-18, version 1.0.9* When I first heard about Guppy I was a part of a pay-to-use group that required you to pay upfront for notices about drops for collectibles. And a lot of the time it was barely enough notice to be able to log in, let alone get the items before resellers could. Guppy is a breath of fresh air for collectors like me who are often not able to get products when they are released. I have had more success with the Guppy app notifications than I ever had with the previous groups I’ve been in - and I didn’t have to pay anything for the advance notice. I haven’t taken advantage of the part of Guppy that allows you to set up missions that can auto purchase for you, but I have heard dozens of stories of successful purchases from using this technology — and not one where people have had their info stolen or used for nefarious purposes (it just hasn’t happened, period). Very glad that Clay’s video showed up on my feed, and I highly suggest this app for anyone looking to have almost instant notice when their favorite TCG (and other) items become available! ### 5/5 — Great for grabbing your needs *2026-04-18, version 1.0.9* Don’t believe the other negative reviewers by resellers they’re trying to stop this app, this app has helped me grab product I would never be able to get by myself, after being denied left and right by discords or having to pay for discords only to fail guppy is here to fight back. ### 5/5 — Such a great app *2026-04-18, version 1.0.9* This app has actually helped me get some Target drops at 3 am when I am asleep. Does it always work? No, but Clay and his team have been working so hard to improve it and it’s improving fast. I also like they added a in store product tracker so I can see what is in stock locally. Any criticism mentioned in the discord is met with immature mods and users who will insult and gaslight you because the product doesn’t work as advertised, while it worked for them one time 4 months ago. Dont get this product and bankroll an underbaked bot. Dropsync works much better and has a nicer community that actually lands Pokemon products people want. It stops trying after a couple attempts you have more odds of succeeding if you just do it manually as it is the same thing or even better . They also have their lower subscription that notifies you of stock near you or when a retailer drops something and it is terrible as well . You have to be fast for this types of things and by the time I got the notification from guppy it was super late . I am in FREE discord servers that do a faster and better job than Guppy a shame they are charging this much for something you can get for free . Save your money and time . To me, that value alone more than paid for the subscription. With their latest development around the desktop, it has greatly improved with on-line drops - setting up missions that cart and checkout product! It’s not a full guarantee you will get everything you want but I was able to get stuff in the last drops. Long story short, I decided to take the leap of faith and give Guppy a shot with the “Pro” membership and I have to say, initially I was losing faith. It had been almost one month and I still had not hit any drops for pokemon cards but, the founder of Guppy came out with a desktop app, at no extra charge, and it works even better! With the regular app/chrome addon I could see it trying to score but it fell victim to sites timing out and glitching as we all do when we try to score these drops manually. With the new desktop app I actually hit for the first time last night… ON 3 PRODUCTS!! If you are on the fence and don’t know whether or not you should give it a shot, just do it. If you don’t you’ll always wonder what could have been, worst case scenario, it’s not for you and you waste $13… The founder and his team are CONSTANTLY on discord, taking feedback and, improving Guppy in way possible to ensure that you and me get these pokemon drops before the scalpers. This is the only review I have ever written on the app store because Guppy is literally that good and the founder is that nice. ### 5/5 — Guppy Fan *2026-06-10, version 1.0.9* Already snagged some booster bundles after 2 runs. As a Pokémon card collector, it can be frustrating trying to find products at MSRP before they sell out. Guppy has made that process much easier by showing local retail inventory and helping me find Pokémon products at stores like Target. The notifications are fast, the information has been accurate, and it has saved me a lot of time and effort. I’ve been able to pick up products at retail prices instead of paying reseller markups. Guppy has given me a fighting chance! The radar, and alerts are also a gamer changer for scoring product. I’ve been a paid member for 3 months now, and every month it has paid for itself at least 3 times over (sometimes much more!) in what I would have spent to get the same items on the secondary market. Is it going to get you an item every time? No, not yet. Is it a work in progress? Yes! But the Guppy team make multiple improvements to the product every single week! I’ve never been an early adopter of a product where the developers obviously care so deeply about it.
