Gurwi es una excelente app: rápida, con una interfaz amigable, UX design 10/10, contenido escrito 11/10, branding 11/10, y una causa social 1000/10.

Tomé el curso sobre el sistema tributario de Colombia, y como especialista en marketing digital me encanta ver contenido escrito con estructura de embudo: estratégico, que te envuelve paso a paso en sesiones cada vez más interesantes que la anterior y, sobre todo, conectadas en un esquema bien pensado de la A a la Z.

Gurwi es una gran idea para democratizar la educación para todos. Esta iniciativa contribuye al desarrollo social de todos nosotros, en especial para aquellos que tienen acceso limitado o nulo a educación básica y/o superior. Entiendo que esta app nace en Colombia con el fin de contribuir a la educación, tal vez, de los más desfavorecidos.

Tuve la oportunidad de probar la aplicación, es muy interactiva y fácil de entender, y mejor aún, explica de tal manera que capta la atención del usuario. ¡Eso es perfecto!

El problema que veo en ello es que, para tener acceso a dichas clases, en su gran mayoría, debemos pagar una membresía. Si bien entiendo que de algún lado deben buscar los fondos para mantener y actualizar la aplicación, el que sea de pago incentiva a que no sea realmente justa la causa de la democratización de la educación. Esto es especialmente relevante en el contexto de Colombia, un país desigual, donde muchos jóvenes lamentablemente no tienen acceso a la educación. Apps como estas, que contribuyen a su educación, al ser de pago, limitan su aprendizaje, dado que muchos no cuentan con recursos suficientes para pagar una suscripción. Esa grandiosa idea de democratización de la educación pasa a un segundo plano, ya que solo aquellos que puedan pagar podrán tener acceso completo a dicha educación. Esto hace que sea solo una app más del montón, que si bien ofrece la oportunidad de aprender, también requiere pagar por una “mejor educación”.

Considero que es una gran idea, especialmente porque veo potencial en que esta misma contribuya a la sociedad de mi país, en especial a los menos favorecidos. Sería genial que todo, o en su gran mayoría, el material fuera gratuito, para que jóvenes de escasos recursos puedan mejorar su calidad de vida.
