Instead of guessing at a number out of five, you build a personal Top list by comparing places head-to-head: which was better? The result is a clear, honest 10-point score and a ranking that reflects how you really feel. The more you rank, the sharper your taste gets.

Your taste is a match now, not a number.

New:
See whose taste is like yours. People who love the same places now surface in your feed: one friend, one place, one question. It appears once there is enough evidence behind it, and stays quiet before that.
Add several photos to a place at once, or take one while you are standing there. You choose who can see each upload.
A new look. A calmer page, and cards that say plainly whose judgement they carry.
The comparison screen is the same everywhere. The place's photo, the card you picked lifting, your own note underneath, whether you came from a list or from Save and Rank.

Fixed:
Save and Rank now compares against the list you chose, so it stops putting a burger place next to a fish place and asking a question nobody can answer.
A comparison you already answered is not asked again.
The "show my activity in feeds" setting actually works. Off means off.
When a list is no longer ordered by comparisons, it now says why.
Photo upload stopped blaming the network for an expired session.

Privacy:
We now measure how the app is used, on our own backend, to see which parts earn their place. What you type into search, your location and free text are never recorded, there is no third-party analytics, and no advertising identifier is collected. The details are in the privacy text inside Settings and on our site.

Change your profile photo from your profile. Tap the edit button on the corner of your photo, no trip to Settings.
Mute a single conversation. For 8 hours, for a week, or until you turn it back on. Messages and unread counts stay; only the notification goes quiet.
Fewer discovery notifications. If there is no named person and no plan you made, your phone now stays quiet.
