## What is GYC?

Delivering the ability to connect The Gstaad Yacht Club to your mobile device. Members enjoy and receive notifications on a unique network, year-round pomotion of activities on the waters, in the clubhouse and in the surroundings of Gstaad, a merchandising section (boutique), lunch and dining reservations an educational programme and individual services from the GYC for members as well a section partners to members - all to be held in one hand. The club was founded in 1998 by a group of sailor enthusiasts with the vision to ""create a unique global yacht club away from the waters, instead of another local club by the waters"". With its club facilities based in the Swiss mountains and in the beginning, very often acknowledged with surprise, the GYC developed to a club with 400 members from over 30 different countries and to a place where members and their guests love to meet and a limited number of newcomers is still accepted.
