The app stopped working and I could not log in. Between creating an account, having to verify it, and sign in a thousand times, then getting your account locked before you can even upload your gift card. What a joke. App or website doesn’t allow you to check balances or view supported gift cards prior to installing the app and signing up. After I went through that trouble it turns out it didn’t support my gift card anyway. The app has all power to intake your funds, gift cards and contact lists but WILL do everything to stop redeeming the gift card balances. #1) App says I’m outside the country and can’t login. Not true. When I finally get the account login, the app functionality works to purchase or import gift cards. #2) However the redeem option doesn’t work and says I’m outside the country. Terrible! #3) Their help buttons do not work plus there’s no phone number mentioned here in the app. I had to go to TrustPilot.com for their contact information and other customers’ experiences. ### 1/5 — Terrible *2025-08-28, version 2.7.3* Designed to trap funds within a gift card. Endless loops of authentication that go do not allow access of funds. ### 1/5 — Worst App I’ve seen TO DATE as a consumer and developer *2025-08-25, version 2.7.3* as a developer and person who uses many apps, I was shocked to see how bad this was developed and unusable it is, almost as if they intentionally designed it this way to trap your gift cards in their app. Everything seems so bad that I could ask ChatGPT to rewrite this and it would do it better even with hallucinations… the devs need to be studied or they are getting payed little to nothing… your telling me they updated this 6 days ago for “bug fixes”??? A lot more you’ll need to fix. hasn’t this been around for more than a decade??? It really comes in handy when you forgot someone’s birthday etc. I’ve never had any issues with it. TTT ### 5/5 — Surprised me with so many functions and ways to use this app! *2019-04-23* I thought it was just an gift card selling app, in which case all I assumed it did was sell gift cards to app users. Big whoop, right? But, it allows me to store e-gift cards and traditional gift cards on the app like a virtual gift card wallet. Also, you can regift any of your unwanted stored gift cards. But, instead of sending the recipient their gift card from you to their email address, you can send them by text message and/or both email address. Also, it makes the spending of the gift cards while shopping super fast and easy by displaying a barcode for physical stores to scan during checkout. It also records each transaction made using each specific gift card, thus maintaining the most accurate and updated gift card balance. It does one more really cool and useful thing by allowing you to add your gift cards to your Apple Wallet. That’s quite a bit of great functions for this single app, which technically provides free services such as sending gift cards as gifts. You can also purchase Gyft card credits to purchase any type of gift cards you can possibly purchase on this app, which makes gift card giving less personal, but much more functional and useful in comparison to trying to purchase materialized gifts, which run the risk of the recipient disliking their gift and either too nice to admit it, or blunt enough to hurt the gift giver’s feelings. Anyways, I never rate or write a review for an app, so that says something about how great this app is. (Or my opinion of how great this app is.) ### 5/5 — Great! *2018-10-25, version 2.3.9* I’ve only downloaded the cards I have and then sent them to my apple wallet. I then share them with my kids as a pass. I haven't bought something from them, I prefer to get the actual card myself and just add them on this app to transfer to my wallet. I then put away the card at home till the balance is used in case something goes wrong.
