### 4/5 — Update problems

*2024-11-05*

Since the last update my weekly goal resets to 1 day every week. It will never stay as what I set it as the last week

- also lost all my data in the update but the weekly goal reset is the most annoying part

### 2/5 — Well it used to be good

*2024-06-30*

I’ve had this app for over a year and loved it. It was so simple and easy to use. They updated it and now the main thing I used it for is gone. I used to love looking through the days to see when I went to the gym very easily and how often I was going. Now I have to click through each day to tell if I went or not. Or I have to pay a premium price. Also I can’t even log a workout without choosing what I did but the choices are so minimal that I always have to just choose some random thing that isn’t even the workout I did. For example, hiking, I had to choose cardio and walking. Sadly I deleted it and will be searching for a new one.

### 2/5 — New update deleted past data

*2024-05-20*

I enjoyed the simplicity of tracking my workouts, but with the new update that was made to the app without my permission all past data was wiped out. The new version doesn’t show the count of workouts per week? There seems to be a big bug with the update.

**Developer response:** Hi there, I understand your frustration. Could you please contact me via gymday.app/contact?

### 2/5 — Updates Wipe Out Workout History

*2024-05-18*

This is two straight years now where I try to use this app to simply keep track of how many gym workouts I log for the year (my goal is 250) and the app posts an update that I didn’t permit and it completely erases my data (both have come in the middle of the year no less).

VERY FRUSTRATING! I liked how simple the app was but I literally have had to log my workouts on a physical calendar to avoid losing this year-long information due to the app’s attempt to get me to pay money for features that I was never seeking 😤

**Developer response:** Hi there, I understand your frustration. Could you please contact me via gymday.app/contact?

### 2/5 — Lost all my progress and the app is worse.

*2024-05-17*

After the last update I lost all my data from the months before. The new UI of the app is promising but full of bugs such as not being able to scroll on certain areas or exit the daily log screen. On top of that, now its full of paid features that are a bit intrusive since they appear on your log screen regardless if you paid for them.

**Developer response:** Hi there, I understand that this is frustrating. To help you, please contact me via gymday.app/contact.

### 2/5 — Froze after 5 weeks

*2024-02-17*

Great for tracking workouts but then it froze after 6 weeks and made me have to reset it. But then it wouldn’t let me log past weeks so I’m giving up on this app. Super annoying.

**Developer response:** Hi there, I just wanted to let you know that with the new update, this problem is solved. We also added features that you may like! :)

### 3/5 — Issues when changing time zones

*2023-12-07*

It seems the app has some issue whenever I travel and change times zones messing up the calendar and the ability to record my trained days. This probably needs reviewing.

### 3/5 — Almost

*2023-11-30*

Only gives option of 4 days a week as a target vs 7.
Needs a simple way to add notes

### 3/5 — Love it butttt…..

*2023-08-05*

Love this app but I got to 21 workouts and it froze and now I can’t track anymore and have to reset and start over. Bummer

### 2/5 — No depth - basically just checking off a day.

*2023-07-14*

All you do is check off if you worked out or not. No saying what workouts you did, type, nothing. Very basic and not very helpful.

### 3/5 — Detail

*2023-06-21*

Not as detailed as I thought it would be

### 2/5 — could be better

*2023-05-08*

it was working fine and i like the simplicity of it, but after an update or something it is providing inaccurate numbers. after 19 weeks it says i’ve done 8 workouts total

### 4/5 — Great, but want more

*2023-03-30*

The only thing I dislike, is that there is no part of the app to type any notes of the day. I wanna be able to log my weight and/or what exercise I did that day. Other apps are too complex and i just want something as simple as this! A notes section would be amazing

**Developer response:** Hi there, I just wanted to let you know that you might like the new update! We added a notes section as requested by you (and a few more things) while still keeping the app simple. Check it out :)

### 2/5 — Where is the total???

*2023-03-15*

Simple and useful tool to track my weekly work out but where is the total of all my work out????

### 1/5 — The new app update ruined everything

*2024-06-02*

I wish I hadn’t of updated to the new version of the app because once I did, I lost all my data from the past 2 1/2 years that I’ve been using this app. The one thing it was supposed to do was TRACK when you workout and then goes & erases it all.

I hate that because now there’s no way to get my previous data back. The new features are fine but I downloaded this to use as a simple tracker, being able to add notes is nice - but all the extra features are unnecessary.

You could’ve at least warned us we’d loose our data after updating!

### 1/5 — Update changed app for the worse

*2024-05-30*

Before the update this app was beautiful for its simplicity. It was extremely good at what it did and kept everything organized to motivate you getting into the gym.

However the new update falls into the same boring genre of trying to spend more time playing with the app than helping you get in the gym.

### 1/5 — Update disaster

*2024-05-30*

Loved the previous version (which was minimal, but ideal for a minimalistic tracker). After update the app is a disaster. I lost all my logged data due to update… And then I lost it again after I tried the new version for a couple of weeks. So the new app failed at literally the only thing it was supposed to do: keep track.

The new version is so much worse than the previous version. even if it would not lose the data, every change that was made is for the worse. So much less intuitive to use, visualization of logged training is basically nonexistent. And literally everybody agrees: there were several good reviews before the update, while since the update there is a flood of 1-star reviews. Should be crystal clear to the developer that the update was a huge mistake.

**Developer response:** Hi there, I understand that this is frustrating. To help you, please contact me via gymday.app/contact.

### 1/5 — Data erased

*2024-05-28*

Wy is this the second time this month that my previous data has been erased, the whole reason for this app was for me to be able to keep track of myself going to the gym and now a years worth is gone for an update I never needed. So infuriated, that I'm finding a new app.

### 1/5 — App completely changed

*2024-05-23*

Downloaded the app as a simple one-click "gym or no gym day" habit tracker. It has more in-depth options now, which is nice if that's what you're looking for, but it's completely different now than what it started as. Also will not log data without logging into Apple ID now. Deleted app.

### 1/5 — Recent updates ruined perfect app

*2024-05-21*

Please return the app to the way it was, this new version is horrible and completely destroyed the reason I used it. Literally the app was perfect there was no reason to update it.

I just wanted a simple tracker where I could click the days I worked out and visually track previous weeks X/4 results. This new side scroll option is horrible. I don’t want to add details I just want to mark the days I worked out and be able to quickly see previous weeks week by week.

Why did you do this!?!?!? It’s horrible.

**Developer response:** Hi there, I understand your frustration. Could you please contact me via gymday.app/contact?

### 1/5 — Update disaster

*2024-05-17*

Loved the previous version (which was minimal, but ideal for a minimalistic tracker). can’t say yet if the update makes it better or worse, but I lost all my logged data due to update… So the app failed at literally the only thing it was supposed to do: keep track

**Developer response:** Hi there, I understand that this is frustrating. To help you, please contact me via gymday.app/contact.

### 1/5 — Too simple - not much there

*2023-04-13*

I was looking for a simple tracker. This one could have been useful, but misses the mark. All it does is give you a calendar. What would be helpful, dear developers, is to add simple functionality to be able to record. What kind of workout you did. Otherwise, this isn’t very helpful. I can accomplish more with a giveaway paper calendar from Hallmark. Check out Try Dry for an example.

**Developer response:** Hi there, you might like the new update! It has exactly what you described in your review. :)

### 1/5 — Gym day

*2023-04-02*

Doesn’t track specifics, just tracks that you worked out….. what’s the point, if I work out a certain day I remember…. I want to track what I did so I know what goals to set next time to continually improve!

### 1/5 — Not worthy

*2023-02-04, version 1.0*

Good if you want to track your work out but over all horrible barely dose anything

**Developer response:** Maybe take a look at the screenshots next time before you download an app. It’s useful to many people.

Simple and easy way to keep track of my progress and workouts

### 5/5 — I like it

*2023-12-12*

I like this app but would love it if I could also see my progress on a calendar for more motivation

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2023-12-10*

I’ve been using this app for 2 weeks and it’s super simple and easy to use, the only thing that would make this better is if it had a way to label what kind of workout u did that day

### 5/5 — Love!

*2023-11-03*

I love how easy it is to keep track of how many workouts I’m getting in a week, the reminders too! The only thing I wish it had, a place to note what exercise I did that day, sometimes I do walks and sometimes I do weight training, so that would really help to see when I’m training and when I’m doing cardio.

Thank you love the app!!!

### 5/5 — Keeps you on track

*2023-09-03*

I’m a young boy and want good habits always been active in sports and the gym and this pushes me to never give up or say I’ll do it tomorrow I say I need to do it today 💪🏻👍

### 5/5 — Perfect and Simple!

*2023-06-02*

I like this app because it’s very simple and does its job. I keep it in a noticeable place on my screen and it helps me prioritize my workouts and keep track of them :)

### 5/5 — Perfect

*2023-02-08*

Great little app if you want to only track the days you exercised on. Simple and delightful. Get it now...!

**Developer response:** Thanks for the love! ❤️

### 5/5 — Simple but great

*2023-01-25*

This is exactly what I was looking for. I use my Apple Watch and MFP to track more detail but I wanted an app just to track when I exercised as motivation.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your review! I’m happy to hear that the app motivates you. 💪

### 5/5 — What I was looking for

*2022-12-28, version 1.0*

Simple app that tracks what I was looking for with consistency in working out.

**Developer response:** Thanks for your review. This is great to hear! Consistency is everything. ❤️
