## What is Gym TrAIcker?

Gym TrAIcker keeps your strength-training data on your iPhone. Set trackable body-weight, strength, or workout-consistency goals. Record sets, browse 150 exercises in interactive 3D, generate a personal plan, record technique video, and get on-device AI feedback — without an account or server.

— ON-DEVICE AI EXERCISE TECHNIQUE ANALYSIS (PRO) —
Record a set or import a video. Apple Vision estimates your pose and scores technique on-device; supported iPhones use Apple Intelligence for a local coaching summary. No cloud, third-party AI, API key, or upload. Videos stay in private app storage.

— 3D EXERCISE LIBRARY + AR — FREE —
150 curated exercises, each demonstrated by a detailed animated 3D avatar with configurable skin tone and body proportions. Optional AR placement drops the demo at life size into your room — pinch to scale, drag to rotate.

— PERSONALISED PLANS (PRO) —
Pick a starter program or take a guided quiz built around your goal, experience, equipment, schedule, muscle priorities, and available time. Add height, weight, age, and biological sex manually or import available values from Apple Health with permission. Saved Profile, measurements, goals, and Pro strength-assessment results are reused instead of requested again. Sessions fit the chosen duration, exclude exercises that may conflict with reported injuries, and follow warm-up → main workout → cooldown/stretching. Edit any plan manually.

— APPLE WATCH, HANDS-FREE —
Start a workout on iPhone and your Apple Watch opens the live set recorder. The workout session records heart rate and active energy in Apple Health and contributes to the Activity rings in Apple Fitness. Record sets directly from your wrist; Pro adds inhale-and-exhale breathing-rhythm haptics.

— LOCK SCREEN CONTROLS — FREE —
During an active workout, switch exercises, adjust weight and reps, and log sets from the Lock Screen without unlocking your iPhone. On supported iPhones, Dynamic Island adds quick repetition and set logging.

— PROGRESS & DAILY GUIDANCE —
Pro adds automatically calculated 1RM / 3RM / 5RM and repetition personal records, weekly volume charts, body-measurement trends with a built-in BMI explanation, and unlimited, searchable workout history. Free users can record measurements and keep their last 7 workouts. When body data is available, Nutrition shows estimated daily calories, protein, carbohydrates, fat, and water with calculation details and a health disclaimer.

— PRIVATE AND LOCAL BY DESIGN —
Zero third-party SDKs. No analytics, ads, tracking, or account. Data stays on-device; optional iCloud sync uses your Apple ID — we never see it. Connect Apple Health explicitly in Settings or Progress.

— DESIGNED FOR EVERY READER —
Built with VoiceOver, Dynamic Type, Reduce-Motion-aware animations, and severity icons (not colour alone) for technique feedback. 31 languages support live in-app switching. Metric or imperial units, app-wide.

— FREE VS PRO —
Free: realistic goals with trackable milestones and optional reminders, the full 150-exercise 3D library + AR, manual strength and cardio logging with RPE, your last 7 workouts of history, body-measurement entry, Spotlight and Siri quick actions, theme, language, and units.
Pro: training programs and quiz plans, intro strength assessment, adaptive plan adjustments, set prefill and workout preview, manual plan editing, progress charts, personal records, measurement insights, unlimited history with search, video exercise-technique analysis, and Watch breathing haptics.

— SUBSCRIPTION DETAILS —
Pro is a monthly subscription with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. The price in your local currency appears before you subscribe. Payment is charged to your Apple ID; subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 0.1.5 — 2026-08-06

This update rebuilds the 3D exercise demonstrations from the athlete outward.

The athlete:
• A new body with real anatomical landmarks — shoulders, knee caps, calves, and shoulder blades read as muscle instead of smooth tubes.
• Corrected arm and leg proportions, so the elbow and knee sit where they belong.
• Articulated hands with separate fingers and a thumb, and feet with a flat sole, heel, and toe box.
• The chest and abdomen breathe during every demonstration.

The movements:
• All 150 exercise animations re-recorded against the corrected skeleton.
• Elbows and knees now bend the way the movement does, corrected across the library — the incline dumbbell curl, preacher curl, burpee, Turkish get-up, walking lunge, and every loaded carry among them.
• Bars sit in the hands instead of passing through them, with a squared, pronated grip on rows, pulldowns, pull-ups, and deadlifts.
• Reps ease into the top and bottom of the range instead of bouncing, and plank and pinch holds carry a live pulse instead of freezing.

The equipment:
• The jump rope and battle ropes are now ropes in use: the skipping rope turns in time with the hop, and the battle ropes run to the hands.
• The bench stands on the floor, and its pad reclines for incline, decline, and chest-supported work instead of the whole bench tipping over.
• Materials read correctly — frames, upholstery, weight plates, and rubber feet each have their own tone, and medicine balls, stability balls, and kettlebells are smooth instead of faceted.

Also in this update:
• Exercise demonstrations open faster: equipment models are cached and reused instead of reloaded for every exercise.

### 0.1.4 — 2026-07-24

Train without unlocking:
• During an active workout, use the Lock Screen Live Activity to switch exercises, adjust weight and reps, and log sets.
• On supported iPhones, expanded Dynamic Island gives quick repetition and set logging.

More personal from the first workout:
• Add height, weight, age, and biological sex manually, or import available body data from Apple Health with your permission.
• Reuse Profile, measurements, goals, and strength-assessment results across plans instead of entering the same information again.
• Find the Pro strength assessment after the fitness quiz and anytime in Settings → Profile.

Better plans and guidance:
• Generated workouts fit your chosen session length and follow a clear warm-up → main workout → cooldown/stretching flow.
• Nutrition shows estimated daily calories, protein, carbohydrates, fat, and water as soon as the required body data is available.
• Missing nutrition details provide a direct action to Profile.

Also in this update:
• Goals can seed initial measurements and stay aligned with Profile and plan data.
• Dashboard, Progress, Plans, Workout, and Settings refresh immediately after related data changes.
• Simplified navigation, clearer actions, improved VoiceOver and Dynamic Type support, and general stability.

### 0.1.3 — 2026-07-18

Better 3D exercise demonstrations:
• Restored the detailed, fully modeled 3D avatar throughout exercise animations.
• Reviewed avatar and equipment alignment across all 150 exercises, correcting bikes, benches, cables, row machines, leg presses, and more.
• Corrected facing directions and equipment orientation in affected demonstrations.
• Fixed a real-device issue where switching exercises could leave the 3D viewer black or empty.

Also in this update:
• Faster launch, smoother 3D playback, lower-memory video form analysis, and quicker workout-history summaries.
• More reliable Apple Watch workout synchronization and recovery after interruptions.
• Realistic goals, trackable milestones, optional reminders, and three motivation styles.
• Refined accessibility, iPad layouts, translations, and general stability.

### 0.1.2 — 2026-07-07

Smarter video form analysis:
• More accurate feedback — checks now follow your whole rep and point to the exact moment a fault happened.
• Camera guidance: framing hints, a 5-second countdown, a recording timer, and camera flip.
• Form history: every saved analysis builds a score trend on the exercise page, with a shareable report card.
• Clearer messages when a clip can't be analyzed, and faster processing with a progress bar.

Also in this update:
• Reworked 3D exercise demonstrations — more natural presses, push-ups, pull-ups, rows and more, with equipment where it belongs.
• Fixed: opening an exercise's how-to during a workout no longer clears the workout, and switching language keeps your session.
• Refined translations across all 31 languages, including grammatically correct counts.
• Dates and numbers now follow your in-app language.
• Accessibility improvements throughout (VoiceOver, contrast, larger touch targets).
• Bug fixes — including clips recorded to the time limit no longer being discarded.

### 0.1.1 — 2026-07-02

First release: 150-exercise 3D library with AR, workout logging with RPE and smart prefill, training programs + quiz plans with an adaptive on-device adjuster (Pro), on-device AI form analysis powered by Apple's Foundation Models (Pro), Apple Watch live set logging with Apple Health, and progress charts/PRs (Pro). Local-first: no account, no analytics, no cloud AI, optional iCloud sync.
