I can’t even try the app in peace to figure out if I want to buy it or not. I feel the $4 price tag is fair, but I can’t even get through a dry run without getting stuck with ads!!!

Hi. I love this app and I am using the pro version for my study. 
I love it overall but Ive got some suggestions.
While using, I found that the timer pauses whenever I go over another app. I would love it if it could keep running at the background. 
Plus, it would be much helpful if I could go over to the next round when I have finished the task earlier than the time I set. 
Thank you for a great app.
