That’s why we created GymBuddy, an app for college students to find a gym buddy at their school. GymBuddy was created by roommates Eugene Liu and Matthew Bagale while they were students at UC Davis. We hated how intimidating it felt going to the gym alone and we would often skip the gym entirely if we couldn’t find someone to go with. Since launching in 2023, our mission has been simple: to help students overcome gym anxiety and become the fittest, healthiest, and most confident versions of themselves!
