I would like the option to export a booking to my personal calendar, this would make it even better. ### 4/5 — Easy to use *2024-01-28, version 2.18.0* I attend Zumba classes & the booking system for classes & packages is really easy. My 1 complaint is that you can’t delete any of the messages - hence 4* rating, any chance this can be changed? ### 4/5 — Please remove out of date bookings *2023-10-23, version 2.18.0* The app is ok, but my out of date bookings do not disappear, which clutters my bookings history. I do not see any way to clear the backlog, so please could you add a feature to clear old bookings or reverse the date order to latest date first. If I search for a class it shows me classes from all over the country which isn’t helpful at all ### 4/5 — Game changer *2022-10-30, version 2.16.1* I’ve been using GymCatch for a little over a year for my business and it is by far the most affordable and functional booking system. The messages seem to glitch and not list them in order of most recent conversations which makes it hard to locate a message in a full inbox, & the calendar takes a while to load but for the amount of benefits at the ridiculously low price, it is well worth it. I have been able to take on so much more work simply due to someone else (the app) taking the bookings for me. Customer service is quick to respond and helpful too ### 2/5 — Poorly designed and unintuitive app *2022-10-12, version 2.16.1* I find this app very sluggish and often freezes (several seconds of delay after tapping a button) but that’s not my issue with the app. It is poorly designed and executed. When I book a session, I have to select my profile and then select ‘view booking options’. (Why? I’m on my account so it’s a given it’s my account and I’m a single user.) It’s not ‘booked’ at this stage. When I then ‘view the booking options’ there are no options, only a message saying ‘Great, you’ve booked’. This is a completely unnecessary step. There is an option to cancel at the top - but it’s not the option to cancel your booking, it’s a cancel to leave button. This makes no sense. You should select the session you’re booking, hit ‘book’ and then get a message to say ‘great, you’ve booked’. Once that’s done you should be able to select a finish or exit button, even better if it took you back to the sessions menu. When I go to my bookings and click on a session I’ve booked in the future I get two options: ‘Manage bookings’ and ‘Book’. ‘Book’ is a big red button. However, I’ve already booked so the option to book should’ve be there. When I click on it to re-book in case I’ve made a mistake, I see the message ‘this user is already attended’. Poor grammar. I’ve no idea why the Book button appears when I’m already booked. It says the session is finished when it’s just started. It won’t let me check-in when the session had started, only before it. This app definitely needs a bit of work. It’s unintuitive and confusing. ### 4/5 — Great app *2021-05-16, version 2.9.1* Have been using this app for a couple of years and don’t really have any problems using it neither do our customers.The only issue I’ve had since the new update on the app is that customers that I add manually (customers without a Gymcatch account) I can’t see their name once added.Never was an issue before the update though ### 5/5 — Simply the best! *2021-03-08, version 2.9.0* I’m a Pilates teacher and have been using Gymcatch for over 2 years now. It has been amazing for my business as it has massively reduced my admin time. I used to muddle along without using a booking system at all, as I couldn’t find one that was affordable yet had all the features I needed. I was delighted to find Gymcatch and have never looked back. Simon and Ollie are always very helpful, professional and patient with any queries and because they are so responsive to feedback, Gymcatch is constantly evolving to meet our needs (e.g. they made it possible for clients to receive Zoom links for online classes when many of us had to move our businesses online during the first lockdown). I love the flexibility of Gymcatch, as I can offer both class packages to be used within a certain timeframe as well as courses that are block booked for e.g. 6 weeks. Easy to use for me and my clients and frees up my time for the more fun and creative aspects of my work. ### 5/5 — Pandemic proofed my business *2021-02-25, version 2.9.0* Great app. Recommended by a friend and came in so useful at a time when my business had to adapt fast. Easy to manage diary, classes and clients like it too. Very, very easy to set up and use and did everything I needed it to, the Gymcatch team were always on hand to help, brilliant bunch😀. The app can be used to set up recurring classes, cancellations accept payment , etc. My customers, some who are not very tech savvy, found the app super easy to use and feedback was that it was extremely user friendly. Every time I am asked to fill the medical questionnaire in, it doesn’t recognise it’s been filled in and therefore I can’t book onto my class with my package! Really annoying and I keep having to go through the studio instead. No one got back to me when I asked for help either. Must shopping apps are careful to deal with user error. Gymcatch takes advantage. There is no alert when cancelling sessions to remind you there will not be a refund due to the 24hr policy and neither does it ask the customer to confirm they want to cancel. Consequently it is easy to make a mistake. Instead I face losing money due to 30days expire time. App crashes a lot. Lags too much. Location services don’t do what mean to do which is showing the closest events first. Definitely recommend! ### 5/5 — It’s a game changer! *2023-10-30, version 2.18.0* I’m a Private Personal Trainer and recently started running Small Group Classes in the studio I’m currently working. I was looking for an app for my classes especially- and found GymCatch simply brilliant, has all of the features I needed for that, not to mention the price is affordable for the features even with extra bolt on-s. As a self employed person it helps me a ton with organising the bookings and finances side and I can now have a peace of mind around that, too. Building up the system might seem to bit tricky first, but once you get the gist of it and know what you’re doing, the set-up is very smooth. The videos are also helpful: very well detailed and easy to follow + the customer service is excellent. Simon and Ollie are so kind and helped me a ton, as a newbie I felt lost in the beginning, but not anymore. The online booking process is so slick and easy for my clients and they have done everything they can to reduce admin for instructors - things that would take hours using other software take minutes. Fabulous stuff, would recommend (and frequently do recommend!) to other instructors. I have integrated their booking system into my own website and it looks great, but even if you choose to use their site and app it still looks brilliant.
