## What is GymDex?

Walk into a gym and know what each machine does — and every exercise you can do on it.

Point your iPhone at a machine's instruction plate. GymDex reads it, names the machine, and opens a guide with animated demonstrations, step-by-step instructions and the muscles each exercise works.

• SCAN A MACHINE — reads the instruction plate in seconds. Worn or missing plate? GymDex suggests the closest match by appearance, or type what it says.
• 1,500 EXERCISES — animated guides for 45 kinds of gym equipment, from the lat pulldown to the leg press, cable tower and dumbbell rack.
• BUILD YOUR DEX — every machine you scan joins your collection and unlocks its exercises. See how much of your gym you've mastered.
• LOG EVERY SET — start a workout or a saved routine, enter reps and weight in a couple of taps, and let the rest timer pace you.
• TRACK YOUR PROGRESS — streaks, weekly volume, and your best lift at every rep count, exercise by exercise.
• FREE TO START — your first 5 machines are free, with all their exercises, logging and progress. Unlock every machine with a one-time purchase. No subscription, ever.
• PRIVATE BY DESIGN — the photo is read on your iPhone and never saved or uploaded. No account, no ads, no tracking. Export a backup whenever you like.

Perfect if you're new to the gym, switching gyms, or just tired of guessing what that machine in the corner is for.

GymDex is a reference and logging tool, not medical advice. Always check a machine and its instruction plate before using it.
