## What is GymGang?

GymGang is the fitness app built for people who train harder when they're not alone.

Log every session. Build your streak. Watch your intensity climb. Then share it with the people who actually care — your gang.

LOG YOUR WAR SESSIONS
Track every workout with a photo, a comment, and your effort level. Every session tells a story. Make yours count.

BUILD YOUR GANG
Follow friends, accept their requests, and see their sessions appear on your feed. React with kudos, drop a comment, keep each other accountable.

YOUR STATS AT A GLANCE
Weekly workouts. Streak days. Intensity percentage. All on your home screen, updated every time you train.

PUBLIC PROFILES
Every user has a profile showing their war stats, recent sessions, bio, and goals. Tap an avatar to zoom in. Find your people.

ROUTINES THAT WORK
Browse or create workout routines. Start a session from any routine and track your performance as you go.

BUILT FOR SERIOUSNESS
No fluff. No gamification gimmicks. Just clean data, bold design, and a community that shows up.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.5.1 — 2026-08-23

Finish-workout screen now checks Apple Health on its own

When you finish a workout, the app now automatically looks for your latest Apple Health record, no need to leave and come back to the screen. If it still doesn't show up, you can try again anytime with the new refresh button.

### 2.5.0 — 2026-08-19

Quick check-in: log an activity without a full workout

You can now log that you did an activity without building a full workout — just a photo, description, location and activity type, straight from the Home tab's workout button. Pick from hundreds of activities or import directly from Apple Health, and it all counts for XP, Gains and your streak just like a full workout. As a bonus, you can now also adjust the start and end time when finishing a live workout.

### 2.4.1 — 2026-08-11

Importing from Apple Health got more detailed

When importing a workout from Apple Health, you now go through the same comment, photo and location step as finishing a live workout — and you can link the import to one of your own routines. When available, the workout's calories and distance are also saved and show up on the session details.

### 2.4.0 — 2026-08-10

Import workouts from Apple Health

Train with an Apple Watch or another app? You can now import those workouts straight into GymGang from Apple Health — they count for XP, Gains, and show up on your Feed just like any other, no restrictions at all. When you finish a workout in the app, you can also link it to a matching Apple Health workout from the same time, so everything stays as one single record.

### 2.3.0 — 2026-08-04

Challenges just got a lot more complete

You can now leave a challenge whenever you want, delete one you created, and tap any participant on the ranking to see exactly which workouts are counting toward their score. Creating a challenge also got the option to require a photo or location to count.

On top of that, you can now edit or report a workout post, and the XP you earned shows up right on the card in your Feed.
