You have a plan. Satzwerk tells you whether it works.
No feed, no onboarding tour, no app built to keep you busy. Log it, move on,
and know afterwards what the numbers say.
WHAT YOU KNOW AFTERWARDS
Which exercise was too light. Per exercise: did your reps land in the target,
too light, too heavy or at the top.
Whether you're getting stronger. Your heaviest set of your latest training
week against the week before, per exercise, Monday to Sunday.
Which muscle gets too little. Working sets per muscle group and week, with the
10-20 mark as a line (dose-response meta-analysis, Schoenfeld 2017). Warm-up
sets don't count.
How hard it was. How many reps you had left after the last set (RIR), plus
the share of hard sets against the four weeks before.
Half a year on one screen. 25 weeks as a grid, plus an archive with every
session, every set, every number.
A FINDING, NEVER AN INSTRUCTION
Satzwerk tells you what your data says. Never what to do. No weight
suggestion, no deload verdict, no algorithm that knows better. The decision
stays with you or your coach.
DURING THE WORKOUT
What you did last time is already there, in grey.
Warm-up sets are their own kind and skew no statistic.
RIR after the last set, if you want it. Off otherwise.
Timed exercises with a countdown and a sound at the end.
Your workout stays on the lock screen: the next exercise with weight and reps,
how many sets are done, the clock. Check the set off there, without opening
the app (iOS 17 and up).
YOUR BODY IS PART OF THE TRAINING
Weight as a weekly average, Monday to Sunday, because a single morning says
nothing.
Body fat from three skinfolds (Jackson & Pollock), four skinfolds (Durnin &
Womersley) or from your scale. Every site with a description of where it is.
Measurements with their own breakdown, and a curve of its own for your waist.
Phases with a target rate and the calorie number that fits that rate.
PLANS AND GYMS
Several plans side by side. 171 exercises in the library, your own names work
too.
Move this week's workouts without changing the plan itself.
The same exercise on a different machine gives different numbers. Satzwerk
keeps your gyms apart, down to what you did there last time.
Pass a plan on as plain text. Your training partner pastes it in from the
clipboard.
SATZWERK PRO
Included without Pro: plans, workouts with last time's numbers and the lock
screen, weight with weekly average and pace, archive, backup and export.
Pro unlocks the analysis: progression, sets per muscle, intensity, RIR and
gyms. For your body: body fat, measurements, phases, goals and calories.
30 days of Pro are free. They start with your first completed workout and end
by themselves — no subscription, nothing to cancel, no payment.
After that it's your call. Satzwerk Pro comes monthly or yearly. It renews
automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the
current period. You can cancel any time in your Apple ID settings.
Your own data is never locked. Whatever you logged stays visible, in the
archive and in your backup, with or without Pro.
YOUR DATA
Everything runs on your iPhone, with or without signal. A full backup as a
file, CSV export. Apple Health receives your workouts, weight and body fat
once you turn it on in your profile.
English and German, kg and lb, light and dark. All set separately.
WHO IT'S FOR
For people who already have their plan and want to know where they stand. Not
for people looking for one: Satzwerk ships no ready-made programs, no social
feed and no advice.
